I have a question. Can i start my carrer for serious with this roster and wait for eventual updates with Reditor knockin in our doors? Will there be some kind of override-roster option to update roster in on-going MyCarrer?

italianamericaninNBA, in-game, there's no option to update the roster once you've started. A tool I created last year, Roster Merge, used REDitor to update saves with new information in updated rosters, among other things. I plan on working on it again this year, but no promises before REDitor is out.

You can always use roster editor to keep your my player career updated.

All you have to do is when albys release updated rosters just copy each tab into your my player roster, but before you do always find your player and copy it to an excel spreadsheet so you can paste it back in when you get done updating your my career rosters.

Wouldn't recommend that. You need to be selective about what kind of columns you update, and doing that will erase all players inserted by the draft class.

For the my Player Career mod what do you mean by erase all players inserted by draft class? After all My Player rosters is just a clone of the original one.

I am not far into career mod just played 10 games but haven't notice anything off. I been using meds rosters and I started off using 0.7 then when he released 0.8 I updated players tab to carry over the injuries and I haven't noticed anything off.

Now you got my curious lol.

Well, whenever you start a season, the game generates the next season's rookies (if you don't use a custom draft class, like in Association for example), and adds them to the Players tab by replacing some empty/unused entries. By overwriting a MyCareer's Players tab with a Roster one, you're effectively erasing all next season's rookies. Game's bound to crash when the season ends, if not sooner.

Be selective about what you copy-paste. Always do it by CFID instead of ID, and always only copy the columns that have the most important stuff that you want to update. For example, to update injuries, only copy CFID, InjuryType and InjuryDays.

this roster in my career have serious bug's .First it's when after the game a go to headlines and don't see my name i saw crawford and second i don't get my player in ASG Voting

Why do you think that edited rosters are causing these bugs? Are you awawe that MyPlayer has been a mess for years?

apollokid, the bugs R10barca mentioned sound exactly like the bugs edited rosters have been causing MP. Otherwise they would be happening to people with retail rosters as well.

In my Forever Young this problem don't exist. This Roster is good but have many bug's like many player's in game have a white texture not cyberface and someone player like Valenciunas have mess ID with CFID.

Do you think it could be related to editing the roster file externally? I mean if simply changing values in-game would cause that, almost everybody should see these bugs since I doubt there's anybody who hasn't changed a thing from the default roster.

Always depends on what you edit, not how you edit it. External editors are nothing more than emulating what the game itself changes. But there are things that you can take too far, such as messing up ASA_IDs, occupying the roster entry used by MyPlayer, etc.

How to be starter on ASG because a skip the day's and in headline i am starter but when I start ASG i be put on 12 place only 5+ minutes. What value I need to edit?

Right now I'm making the portraits for MEds 0.8 and URB v4. I don't use the Portraits IDs from Meds because of reasons. If you want, you can send me the list of players with portraits missing and I will add them to the portraits file and send you the IDs you may want to use.
