Magic lose in Toronto

The Orlando Magic had to give up another game this season loosing to the also struggling Toronto Raptors. Especially in the 3rd quarter Orlando was not able to keep pace with the Raptors.

Rookie phenomenon Warren Macy had his troubles shooting the ball this time. Only 7-22 from the field and 0-5 from the arc was not much help to his team.

For the Raptors Demar DeRozan impressed with 25 points. Andrea Bargnani sealed the Raptors victory scoring 12 of his 22 points in the 4th quarter.

Hawks one step ahead

With the second loss in a back to back roadtrip the Orlando Magic slide more into the cellar of the Conference only ahead of the Boston Celtics who have a 1-9 loosing record.

Even Warren Macy was able to recover from his bad performance the day before it was not enought to challenge the Hawks. Macy scored 31 points combined with a career high of 14 boards.

Al Horford and Josh Smith was just too much power in the paint. Furthermore Lou Williams and Devin Harris scored at will against a tired looking Magic defense.

Macy is playing well as a starter finally, took a bit to settle in but going well now. Redick needs some more burn IMO, maybe you should suggest to coach JV

(Y) I like Macy! I feel like he's gonna grow into less of a KD and more of a glass eating small forward that can score, not quite as purely as KD, but can definitely stack some points. Like a J Smoove 2.0?
