Hey thanks for trying to help but I figured it out using Lefto's roster editor tool.
Shved's CF ID is png8003. (You are almost half right LOL)
So I checked the CF package slimm provided on the first post and found out that his png8003.iff is missing from it. I downloaded RapboY's CF and now everything is fine. (The file I got from moddingway already has him at 8003!)

Signature moves are being re-worked now. Once those are done, I'll be looking at Signature Skills. I'll also be adding new players as CF's are released. No ETA as of yet. There will be more data to analyze after the season starts.Rhenel_04 wrote:why some ratings are too high like chris andersen in the fa pool .and kobe is 85? also durant 87? fix some ratings.
Thanks for the answer, Leftos. Allow me to go into more detail.
The individual ratings that hurt his overall rating the most are Offensive Awareness and Defensive Awareness. These ratings affected the Overall Rating by a total of 18 points combined, or 9 points for each attribute. The way that I determine these ratings are by looking at a player's last 3 seasons and for Offensive Awareness, adding the average of Offensive Rating and Offensive Win Shares together. For Defensive Awareness, I take the average of Defensive Rating and subtract Defensive Win Shares from it. The scale that I use looks like this:
Offensive Awareness (Offensive Rating+Offensive Win Shares)
123 - 95
118 - 85
113 - 75
108 - 65
103 - 55
98 - 45
93 - 35
88 - 25
Defensive Awareness (Defensive Rating-Defensive Win Shares)
90 - 95
94 - 85
98 - 75
102 - 65
106 - 55
110 - 45
115 - 35
120 - 25
Kobe is a below-average on-ball and help defender. His Defensive Rating average of the past 3 seasons has been 105 and he has averaged 3 Defensive Win Shares per season. This gives him a Defensive Awareness Rating of 65.
He is an Isolation-based player, a volume-scorer, and has a low EFG% of 47% over the past 3 seasons. What that means is he takes a lot of low-percentage shots. His Offensive Rating average of the past 3 seasons has been 108 and he has averaged 5 Offensive Win Shares per season. This gives him an Offensive Awareness Rating of 75.
In his prime, which he is nowhere near, he had 8 out of 9 seasons where he would have had a 95 in Offensive Awareness. His career high for Defensive Awareness would have been a 75. He has always been highly overrated on the defensive end of the court.
Feel free to look at the Editing Guide in the first post. I explained why I use the scales I do, how I came to them and how they effect the sim-engine.
Any other questions?

Are you also updating player accessories to?

I'm enjoying my week off with your current set.. just playing random games and it's so much fun already. I will wait for your updated roster for an association mode though.
Leftos wrote:slimm44, do you think you'll be getting round soon to fulfilling my request of a document listing all objective stats, their sources and scales so that I know how I can improve the NBA Stats Tracker feature? As I said, the guide you provide doesn't help me a lot in that aspect, and I'd love to have a document that has everything nice and tidy, if that's not too much to ask.

Thank you, sirs. I know my roster will not be as good as others in terms of shoes/accessories/colors, but, if I may be so bold, my roster will be the best in terms of gameplay and sim-stats. I'd love it if I could get as much help as other roster makers on this forum. For some reason, it's very difficult, which is why I've been so grateful to those who have helped so far.[/quote]savantopus wrote:savantopus wrote:Wow Slimm you are a F*ing bad ass.
