Plan to buy this one for xmas:

how does the game feel with 5.1 system compared to stereo? Do 2k13 support well 5.1 audio?

Eh I love surround sound gaming, but this game isn't one of them that really takes advantage of it. Mostly because I find the crowd atmosphere and energy to be too inconsistent, the crowd often doesn't react to huge plays, which completely kill any immersion.

That said I mean it technically works fine, you'll get music in all 5 channels (for better or worse). But I definitely would reccommend 5.1 for racing, shooting, adventure games, they add tonnes of immersion.

The PC version does not match the 360 version when it comes to 5.1 surround sound. Commentators are heard on stereo speakers vs just the center channel on the consoles. The overall arena atmosphere is just plain better on the console version. Even alchemy from creative doesn't the sound like it does in other games by taking advantage of hardware acceleration.
