Using the Roster Editor, you can assign Custom Colors to the shoes of each player.

Thanks!! You mean today's Lakers? Use the Roster Editor and assign the coach value of the Lakers to the same as any of the 90s Bulls coaches. But those Phil Jacksons were really young lol.

Here's the Cyberface ID list for coaches by Mattan. There is no list for Coach IDs IIRC.

I guess you have to raise the ratings or lower the ratings of all the bench players.

I don't think Steve Novak is fifty something...... or the Lakers have better bench than most of the league......

Thank you for this! I actually increased Novak's rating from 53 to 54. I definitely know that he doesn't deserve a 53 but I didn't know what stats to add to him for his overall rating to go up. Will definitely alter the ratings more thank you very much for these insights

So that I can see the Lakers ranked middle on defense in the official roster. And Iman Shumpert got 80-26 because of injury, Andrew Bynum got 87-14.

If you would like to change your base roster to Dec., 13, 2012 official one,

and make adjustment with the blog (and players like Novak), compile with those retro teams above...

1. Most jersey patches aren't compatible with Official 2K Rosters other than the default roster (I think I should've based my roster on the default)
2. There is too much work done with this roster for me to base it on the more recent. The accessories already take too much time. But we're also talking about shoes and ratings.
3. You can't simply clone players from 1 Roster to another. I need to create them again with their name and their college and date of birth. That will also mess up their IDs. Leftos' Roster Editor isn't even compatible with the recent roster unless there was an offset used.

Sorry, it's just too much work. I'll just base my ratings on the Real 2K Insider. I trust him from 2K11.

OMG that is a TON of work. But I played Albys' first few teams and the gameplay was silky smooth. And I like a challenge anyway but we're going to need time. I do all this by myself anyway. I only get help from others but I never get them to start from scratch with my rosters like the accessories and these kinds of stuff. Let's hope before Christmas I release v0.6 with the '01 Bucks and others

No there are no shoes in the appdata but you need to have downloaded the Main Folder Files. It's repacked with a lot of new stuff.

You don't have to delete those. Those were create-a-shoes but I don't think a lot of people's PCs were compatible with that. (I think it had something to do with what type of PC you were using for them to work) so I just didn't include them anymore. Also, download the newest Official Online Data for the shoes.

Exactly. What I did was replace an existing retro coach's cyberface, then assign that coach to the team.

I wanted to separate T-Mac and Vince because T-Mac wasn't very good back in Toronto. There's no space for the Nets though!
