PLaying against someone Who iS UBER CHEAP

I keep playing aginst this friend of mine and the bastard is cheap as hell. He exploits all the flaws in the game play in order to win. He plays with orlando and USES TMACK to score 90% of his teams points becasue we play with short quarters and does not have to worry about fatigue. I use a zone defense and on nearly every posession he makes a STUPID shot that is about to betblocked and he passes it off at the last second before the shot is released  and takes advantage of my collapsed defense. This is next to impossible in a "real" basketball. This guy NEVER takes a single jump shot, only dunks. My defensive skills are fairly good, I use the zone, control my big men, try to take charges and cange my strategy to put high pressure on his best players but the same crap happens all over again. I want to play NBA LIve, not NBA JAM. Is there any remedy to this other than the gameplay patch? Should I just switch to a team that also has an unstoppable shooting gaurd/small forward and pull the same crap on him?

i'd say edit T-macs ratings to 50, like the guy said.
if you're the host, whichever rosters you have will be used ;)

Foul him as much as you can, and also use your guy whoever is T-Mac's opponent and try and draw fouls on him. Slow the game down when you've got the ball and just foul him make him earn his cheap points.

first of all dont ever control the player that guards tmac cause then he will pass you like water... make the pc guard him, the pc guards gr8 (well because its the pc :P ) ...
if that doesn't help call a double team whenever he gets the ball but then you risk opening someone else for an easier shot... but like you said he uses mcgrady 90% of the time...
