Slimm44's 2k13 Roster for PC

I think a lot of people are having problems with rosters in general and I think (Usually gets me into trouble, thinking) the main reasons are a mixture of CF's and Portraits.iff from different roster makers. Note I have not tried many\any rosters except Slimm44's (Thank You sir) but I do not think you can use Slimm's, BabyFace's and URB all at the same time unless you check every CF and the Portrait.iff\cdf and make sure they are numbered the same (the CF's) and the Portrait.iff is made exactly the same as well. As far as I know all roster makers use different Portrait.iff files either made by themselves or someone else.

I know most of you know this already but some new guys don't seem to grasp the Portrait.iff idea, It's the "Highlander" rule "there can be only one".

There are some really good rosters/draft classes out there and the College/FIBA/Ultimate Base Roster (hopefully!) are not released yet. We need to have our ducks (or at least CF ID's) in a row before the major conversions come out or we'll have a really big mess on our hands.

I saw that and the original post as well, it's too bad we don't see it implemented by more roster makers.

you are no doubt the best rostermaker in 2k13. roster is simply amazing..ill choose this roster than rosters with portraits.dont care about those stuff.

I use babyface portraits with slimm roster and have no problem at all... I have also made modifications, so that all signed players have portraits. Its quite easy with turbo editor...

Does it not show you a download button in the middle of the page under "No Preview Available"? You should be able to click the download button.

I kinda have the same problem with the CF`s download, even though that download button witch you spoke of appears, after I click it, it doesnt allows me to download, is it possible that I ran into this problem becouse Im from a foreign country?

I would first of all make sure your cookies are allowed, also that you have no 3rd party advertisement blockers or script blockers active, or try a different browser like firefox/IE even googles own.

Alexey Shved has a cyber face
James Singleton has the correct cyberface (light-skinned black dude)
Chris Singleton has the correct cyberface (dark-skinned black dude)

Are you guys installing all of the cyberfaces and the portrait.cdf and portrait.iff files?

Also, can you tell me wich is the CF ID for Brian Roberts, Lance Thomas & Maalik Wayns?

Pistol, only reason for my eruption (which I apologize for) is that I've seen the same complaint about overall ratings all too many times in slimm's threads. He has gone into detail on how he edits the ratings, and most people that have played with the roster says it provides for a really realistic experience, and that OVR doesn't matter. All I'm saying is, do not judge a player by his OVR, but by his simulation and in-game stats. If you feel he's underpowered, then tell slimm in which areas you feel that is, but judge it by actually playing the game, not by OVR. Looking at the ratings, especially between different rosters and slider sets, won't help you at all. Slimm's ratings method is completely different than that of 2K's, and he's well-respected. His ratings and tendencies are used by many other roster-makers as well. Try the roster out, and you'll become a believer too. Don't complain about the ratings being too low. It's how the players actually play that matters. Slimm knows what he's doing.

Yes Ive got no face for Shved until I install Shved CF by RapBoy with ID 8003 and his face appear ingame.

Just wanted to say that your rosters are awesome and I haven't had any of the problems that Pistol was referring to, including portrait files.

I HIGHLY recommend you guys check out Leftos' thread here: (viewtopic.php?f=143&t=84240) and get Generic Mod Enabler. It will ensure you never have to do a re-install again due to mods, and it keeps everything orderly.

Same as the post above, I have only started playing 2k13 recently and Slimm, your roster is fantastic.

I wasn't really expecting any games to be blowouts given how competitive the sliders are. But I won a game by 18 points (Philly v Irving-less Cavs) and lost another by 14 (Charlotte v Toronto)

Just two minor things though that I am not sure whether you have changed already, Hakim Warrick is now with the Bobcats and Matt Carroll is with the Hornets. The two were traded for each other. Byron Mullens doesn't stand out to the 3-point line which make it difficult to shoot 3's with him. He is averaging 5 three-point attempts per game.

I'm editing the Freelance and HotSpot Tendencies now which is drastically effecting spacing and where players like to position themselves. I can tell you, Mullens will be standing out on the perimeter a lot.

I am in the process of updating several parts of the roster and am unsure how long it will be before it's released. It may be Christmas, it may be earlier. I won't be posting much until then because the forums take up quite a bit of time that I could be using to edit. Until then, have fun.

Whenever I try to download it say's "Sorry, we are unable to scan this file for viruses. The file exceeds the maximum size that we scan."

When that message "The file exceeds the maximum size that we scan." appears, next to it should be the message (for me it does anyway) "Download anyway." If you click on that the download should start.

Hey Slimm, while using your roster I noticed two things that occur:
CPU defenders NEVER bite for a pump fake (Literally not once since using your roster/sliders)
Easy passes flying over the heads of teammates out of bounds way more than it should be happening.

Any way to fix these two issues?

Oh yeah about sliders, what do you suggest? I'm using the one at OS, I think it mkmarsh. I'm getting around 95 points when it is CPU vs CPU.

The ones you posted at the beginning of this thread.

For the passing problem, raise the passing slider 1 point at a time and play a game or two. I like it where it is, the problem is not with the amount of errant passes (which happen frequently in an NBA game), but the animations that are triggered when there is an errant pass. The ones that go into the crowd from 10 feet away are an eyesore.

For defenders biting on pumpfakes, try lowering the Defensive Awareness Slider or raising the Contest Shot Tendency. I can't remember offhand what the contest shot tendency is at.
