There are over 100 screenshots of the 2nd trailer there, and you can inspect them in further detail. I notice the Pibwasher billboards, as well as the donut ads which are similar to those in GTA SA.

Really shows their work and attention to detail.

I like that we'll be able to explore the entire city from the start, too.

I was into the idea of the trailer, I see its like a take on "Heat" with the 3 characters from different lives coming together to do certain jobs. Must come from them mimicking heats shootout in GTAIV bank job mission, seems they have mirrored the whole theme of that film to some degree. Gives them good scope to focus the game on different lives and cover all bases in terms of certain levels of lifestyles, background and game usage for location/cars and so on. Plus yo dont have to wait to be able to use certain things, each life has its own ready to go "lifestyle".

Makes a change from the linear build from rags to riches story thats been the same throughout GTA. I hope that the richer character has money issue's so it works the opposite in some ways, trying not to make a loss than always getting stupid funds with nothing much to do with it.

As regards pulling things apart:

Image

In the trailer at this particular section did anyone notice the non AA type odd jagyness to edge of his arm/body? I noticed an overall lack of AA in that video. I cant wait until after console release to see the level for PC like GTAIV did.

I still like the way they are getting more and more precise to the box art and concept art they always wanted for this game, near real/still comic looking, great style to it. Are they using facial technology from LA Nior in this? It seemed like it.

There is a lot of speculation and breakdown on those pages there regarding the trailer. It certainly is an interesting read.

The funniest part is the guy just using a jetpack to rappel down.

Another good job there, given what they had to work with. The jetpack part was pretty funny, but points for creativity.

I love what they did with the open world exploration part but I would love better fidelity in character models, at least for the main protagonists and antagonists.
I've read the article pointed by ixcuincle and it seems that they did a lot of "innovations" in GTAV but to me it stills seems that it lags behind on the graphics part, especially if you compare it with sleeping dogs and the like.

i am not 100% convinced with the 3 main characters idea. i rather pick one then have the other 2 join me for certain missions.

I have some reservations about it but like I said, the idea began to grow on me the more I read and thought about it. Hopefully it works out.

Someone else mentioned the SP James Cameron video when that submersible was posted

I would go James Cameron and explore the sea, but I wouldn't sing that song. Wasn't a fan of it. Anyway, the pics look nice.

Rockstar will delay the game until 9/17/2013. Early speculation was the game might be released in Spring 2013, but it's been pushed back.

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/a ... 72013.html

Little disappointed, but the extended delay hopefully helps them refine the game to a state of near-perfection. Don't need any bugs or glitches ruining the game. I still remember some of those Red Dead glitches

It's been "accidentally" listed on a few things. (Retail listings, resumes/linkedins, etc.)

If I had to guess there will be one, maybe months after like every other GTA was, the reason Red Dead Redemption didn't get a PC release was because the game was in such a hacked together mess of a state they couldn't hope to port it at a reasonable cost. Especially since GTA V is coming out on this gen.

Maybe they'll do something like 360/PS3 this fall, PC in spring with DLCs, then Complete Editions for everything plus PS4/720 in Fall 2014.
