First time PC user

I'm sure this topic is sensitive, but being that I've never done PC gaming I'm seeking some advice.

I want to be able to install NBA 2K13 on both a desktop and laptop, I think the reasoning is rather simple, certainly no pirating/distribution intentions.

Will the product key work for multiple installations?

You shouldn't need the key anymore after you create your myplayer account. Just log into that.
