take a look at the tutorial pdf by hitting the tutorials option in the help menu
I think its located in the xbox360 folder, but the general editing guide should explain it

Hi Vlad, maybe this problem was reported before, but I`m too lazy to read all 21 thread`s site.

Roster All Star Team is not editable. What it means - if I try change in REditor some player who is in roster all star team is not problem. But in the game this change is not appear. For example - I substitue Derrick Rose for Kyrie Irving. And in the Game on East All Star roster is Derrick Rose. The same situation are with any other players.
I change Team Type to make normal change in the game. And if I release any player from AST it will be on Free Agency Poll, but still placed on AST. Could you fix it ??

OK Problem Fixed. I must use overriding _rotation tab.
I am sorry but I can`t speak English very well.

Please forgive me.

There is a column in Reditor called inbounds receiver and you put a 1 in it if you wish the player to often receive the inbounds pass. :)

A new version has been released.
It mostly focuses on MLB 2K12 files for PC, though it includes several improvements in other areas as well.

As for NBA 2K13 - i'll set up a special blog this weekend, so you'll be able to follow my progress.

PS: The prices for NBA 2K12 Tables were lowered.

Vlad, don't forget that you need to connect each player entry to its Player_Stats playoff stats entries. Kind of like you do in StatY fields for regular season stats, but for their playoff stats. I know the entries are there in the Player_Stats table like I said, I've verified that they are, they're just missing the proper pointers from the Players table so that we know which entries belong to which players.

Re: [Tool] Roster Editor - REDitor II (Current v. 4.5)

Postby dunadan on Wed Dec 19, 2012 7:38 am

Hi guys,

i have a newbie question. How do I add (a lot of) rows to a tab of the roster-file using reditor? (I am trying to add rows to the player-stats tab of my roster that is based on UBR34, which unfortunately only contains 164 rows.)

My first naive attempt was to select multiple rows and select Clone. That appeared to work at first, but then 2k12 complained that the ROS-file was corrupt when I tried loading it.
Are there any additional steps I have to take? Or is there another way I haven't found?

Thanks a lot!

Postby Mandelbaum on Fri Dec 21, 2012 6:09 pm

For NBA 2K12 PC version, how do I remove, trade, send to another team, send to Free Agents, or simply Delete a player off of a Created Team, so as to get the Roster down to 11 Players? I have been working with the REDitor II (Current v. 4.5), but cannot seem to remove the player from his Team, though I can clone him rather easily.
I have a Created Team of 12 Players, I just want to remove a player to get Roster down to 11 total... any help appreciated.

change the player's ID that you want to remove from the team to -1 on the teams tab

Thanks Much JaoSming, but that did not seem to work... In fact, I am trying to make minor changes to the UBR Roster (1950's thru 1960's), but alot of changes I have attempted are not working, is there a reason that this happens? Any special technique for editing this large group of Teams?

other than making sure there are no gaps in the roster (so no 0, 1, 2, 5, -1, 7, 8) for the IDs, and updating the plyrnum for each team, nope
Opinions are my own.

I am using the 2K12 Guru edition for 360. Am I supposed to be able to edit the Headshapes tab? I can't edit anything there.

Got it, thanks, of course it works (idiot me!?), I was simply not paying attention to my Roster Load/Save thingy in-game. I have a very different type of Roster Set in-da-works, which the REDitor slices right through it, with no problem.
Tutorials will come in handy shortly I am sure. This editor reminds me a bit of the "Commander" editor for NBA-Live, but REDitor II, combined with 2k System makes it very user friendly, very intuitive and organized. Onward, we go, back to the grind...

Jao,

Question man. Having some issues with the 2K12 360 guru editor.

I am attempting to make the current league rosters.

My file is fine until I put in the Player IDS into the Team Tab. The game freezes when I am at the "Successfully Loaded Roster " ___" from memory Unit."

All of the players have their correct team ids. The file loads fine at that point. But once I edited Chicago (trial and error) the game freezes. I have NO idea what to do and it is frustrating.

What could possibly be the issue?
