With maxed stats,PG cannot dunk

Okay,I realise that its very late in the season with NBA 2k13 looming on the horizon.But i want to squeeze every bit of the 999 bucks i paid for this game.so please help.Here's the problem.
My player is a 6'5" PG.and is a created player.This is NOT in MY PLAYER mode,just a regular created player.The problem is..he cant dunk at ALL in the paint.He can dunk in Fast break.Plus i have all my stats maxed out,Strength,Vertical,Dunk in Traffic,Dunk,Standing dunk.The Attack the basket and Dunk tendencies are also maxed.and i know to press the LT for dunking.
For example,i was one on one with Kyle Lowry in the paint,did a spin and he laid it up.In practise mode,he can do spin dunks.so its extremely frustrating to see it not done in a game,against a smaller man.Can anyone tell me how to do it?I have Jason Richardson package,and no Speciality dunks,so it cant be cancelled out.Also contact dunks are a rarety.

LT forces layups, RT for dunks. If you changed your controls, "Clutch" forces layups, "Turbo" for dunks

I checked. and I dont use the LT.I keep holding the RT and still it keeps laying up.Anything else you can find out?

be taller? lol, I dont know. It could just be traffic (other players) being too close to him.

He's 6'8"!How taller do I need to be?
About the traffic..He had only Mike Bibby in front of him and didnt dunk.He had Kyle Lowry in front of him,and didnt dunk,and he had Wall in front of him,and he didnt dunk.No others were there.
Just now,he didnt dunk when he had an empty lane.I mean,come on..this is really irritating me.
