When will we hear NBA Live 13 cover news and features news

Some kind of expansion pack for NBA Live 10 would've been a nice idea after NBA Elite 11's cancellation and the decision not to release a sim-oriented title last year, if it were at all feasible.

Everytime I try to stay positive about the future of NBA Live I always get a hateful comment from someone on twitter saying that NBA Live will never succeed I kinda get upset when I recieve those comments.

wow its september 8th its only 24 days hope to god that we get nba live 13 cover and features news but they probably will wait until week before to say everything about the game.

That's the Internet for you. It seems like a lot of people want NBA Live to fail, which is a rather unfortunate stance. Not only does competition benefit both sides and the consumer, the presence of NBA Live - whether the game turns out good or bad - does not stop anyone from enjoying NBA 2K and having nothing to do with Live if they're not interested in playing it.

I love the arguments that those trashing the leaked video and lack of information are the "real" fans that truly want Live to succeed, and those of us not hounding EA for information or not getting caught up in the negatives of what we saw are the reason Live sucks. to them, they win the Internet.

Yeah, it's difficult to reason with that mindset.

I didn't think this deserved it's own thread, so will we be getting a demo, and when?

If it's a digital release through XBLA and PSN, there'll definitely be a demo. Even if it's a disc based release after all, I'd say there'll be a demo too. As for when we'd get one, well, your guess is as good as anyone else's. As noted a couple of times already in this thread, news - particularly from the source - has been scarce the past couple of months.

I'm thinking, I'm thinking, and now I have thought. I have 2 great ideas.

#1 I know a very good idea that Live might do, Recently Ea Sports has made a cyberface creator on their website, here it is called Game Face and has been made easy, you just take two pictures of yourself, (front, Side) match the points to where they are wanted, and let the computer do the work. This mode used to be only for pc but it is now importable to a number of games on the PS3 and Xbox, including Madden 13. Making this game download only would only make this process easier.

#2 I am going to start using this forum as my calender, with all the

"its september 10th and there is still no new features and cover news" I'd than be like, "what day is it?.......September 10th, sweet."

what the hell is EA doing? The game is supposed to come out in less than a month. I was gonna 2k no matter what but im curious to see what EA has done to their game. Looks like they still have a lot of work to do. Cause they never wait this long. How is there not even a cover yet? EA, u messed up again.

No matter if and when EA releases Live 13 info, and no matter when and how the game is released, it'll have either a trial of final code (downloadable) or a demo of near-to-final code (retail), so you'll be able to satisfy your curiosity. EA knows that, knows that people are going to be curious to try the product either way, so they're not obliged to release any information.

I'm tired of saying this, but yes, it is suspicious that EA hasn't released any information, but still, we're all going to be trying the demo out, so what does it matter? By the time the demo is released, the feature-set of the game will have been released as well.

All EA has said is October 2012, could be 2nd, could be the 30th.

IF the game is disc based, there is no guarantee of a demo (see Live 07), and IF the game is Digital Distribution, the demo comes on the same day as the game's release as the trial version.

Take what you want from that, but LeBron's rating for 2K13 not being released yet leads me to think there's an affiliation with EA.

If EA would eventually release "good NBA live game" they wouldn't make it digital download (cheaper), but full disk release! So i assume that they know that their product isn't near worth of full release, so they decides: "Hell, we gonna release half product and give it in half price!" We are not talking about some experienced young team, we are talking about EA Sports, God Damn! No news means EPIC FAIL, if you ask me!

That certainly would seem to suggest that LeBron is involved with NBA Live 13. Isn't Deron Williams the cover player for Baller Beats?

Or it could be that they are just holding on to the Bron rating....you know as it will be the highest.

It could be, though it still seems like they'd have released it by now. It certainly fits with the speculation that he's involved with NBA Live 13 in some way.
