Cyberfaces

 What do you think is the best move that EA must do to make a great and realistic faces in 2005?

 And where the hell they will get some nice pics for creating cyberfaces? Gettyimage?

Hmmm.. although it's hard and time wasting but i think that the best possible way is to have all NBA players to make some pictorials for it...lol :D

i think they should pay Andrew and the team to make cyberfaces...cause they seem to be miles ahead in face patching compared to them EA sports fellaz :P

hmm generic faces are really important...cause then u can have more realistic looking rookies since they use cyberfaces....cause since LIVE 2001 the cyberfaces have been so similar....very little change in them...they look like soooooooo bad..

i think they should add more texture into the faces..and maybe have like FIFA ...cause FIFA series has like pretty good generic faces...

also why cant the have that simple way of entering a cyberface...u know like LIVE 2000 had i believe...where u can just load a pic and just mark the points and wolah u get the cyberface on the dude....its pretty quick...and im sure they can improve it bit more...

also they should allow us to edit default players....so u can put headbands and stuff....or change facial hair/hair style etc.... why cant they do it...is it part of licensing ...

well please EA SPORTS....great some good generic faces so that at least when we draft rookise or create free agents we dont have to look at a lame looking face

There's a lot of talented patchmakers in the community who can make cyberfaces, but I'm not one of them. Believe me, if they got me to make the faces, it would be a pretty ugly game. ;)

i'm sure the NBA and the player's association would provide them with pictures. probably part of their contract

At best, like the players are wearing masks. At worst, like the players are melting.

I'm not really interested in patching faces myself. I've converted some faces from NBA Live 2003 for use with NBA Live 2004, but that's pretty basic stuff. I think I'll just stick to rosters for the meantime, there's plenty of talented face patchers around. (Y)

They should just pay Tony, King James, KevC, Kenkian, Mikki and Jowe for faces, Andreas, cklistie, andyg, and Steve for shoes, ReyJ for Tats and Jowe for jerseys. :D

...Just to name a few!
Don't forget Gene, Snilrch and Bchogan, not to mention KD & ][]]ragon.

Everyone would here would be payed to do something in some area, whether it be Andrew for roster, Tony and KJ for faces, Jowe and Mikki for jerseys, Andreas and Stevie for shoes, bchogan & KD for courts/arenas, etc.

And also, it seems that the EA group can't exactly perform miracles by updating every players hair or tats, so even though the faces are crappy, they do a good job none the less, but need to re think their strategy for making cyberfaces.

The best team would be (IMO)
Cyberfaces: Tony, Devastator, Jowe, Nick, King James, Linkin, and Mikki
Jerseys: Jowe, and...Maybe Cklitsie so Jowe doesn't have to do everything
Shoes: Steve and Dahl
Tats: ReyJ, Tony could do some
Courts: bchogan and KD
Rosters: Andrew and Ben

Hotshot is pretty good at cyberfaces. Cklistie and/or cocobee could do some shoes, and Pikss could do some cyberfaces.

Now i'm truely insulted that im no one's list

Alright..im over it :P . But seriously...i think the best thing they can do where it comes to cyberfaces is what they are doing this year. They said they are gonna increase the resolution of the faces...which is great..cause it has been 256x256 for years.

From what i've noticed from browsing gettimages...EA uses images from there for a majority of their cyberfaces. I once contacted gettyimages to see how much it would cost per picture (hi res)..they called me and said each pic is $100 USD.
