NBA 2K11 Enhancement Pack

Postby GR1Z on Fri Jul 13, 2012 7:02 am

Hey guys,

i just packed a collection of game mods (globals and stuff). It includes several patches from other modders. I changed some things on top of this.
You get 2 Draftclasses (2011 and 2012 with cfs), ingame portraits for both draftclasses as well.
This pack contains parts (roster and portraitfiles for example) from the TOTAL Update mod and is fully compatible with it:

Download all three parts and use a program like 7-Zip (recommended) to extract the parts all at once, then extract what's in the Zip file made by them.

GR1Z, if you can remember/don't mind me asking, do you know what changes are in the global file?

The only reason I'm asking is because it just says there's tweaks to it, nothing all to specific.

Do you happen to know if there is an issue with the Jazz court causing crash to the game? I just got it today after I installed your patches.

Thank you for your fast reply! :) To be honest I started to think it could be the other patch I used, the one with a bigger update to 2012 (viewtopic.php?f=136&t=86691&p=1528951#p1528951). So, bear with me on this one. 1st I reinstalled the game today so it was like new. 2nd I updated the game with your patch which btw I like a lot. :applaud: 3rd I applied the total update patch made by haaaaanis. And then I started my PHX association, played 1 game flawlessly but for the 2nd game it crashed when I visited UTAH. My game is still playable but not against UTH on their court. I really don't know what to do. Do you think is enough to copy+paste only the original UTH court - if yes, could you please tell which one is it or can anyone send it to me? Thanks.

s012.iff and s012_lo.iff (low settings only)
For reasons of law i cannot provide you these files. You will have to reinstall and (as you always should when installing patches) create backups from the original files.

Hope that helps :-)

So UTH is team number 12, I see. Thank you for the advice and I surely understand your point about the legal issue...because it is an original file. Btw, in case I have to reinstal the game, I will probably use your patch only. Thanks

Here it is: Version 1.1

Postby GR1Z on Thu Jul 26, 2012 9:43 am

This is V1.1 repacked and updated.
If you already have the previous version installed you only need to take the rosterfile and the two draftclasses.

Thanks. But do I still need to download all 3 parts in order to extract the roster file and the draft classes?

Btw, I just started an association mode with PHX but I wanted to go back to 2010 (2 seasons ago) so I can have 2 draft classes ready for the next 2-3 seasons. The best patch I could find was JuzaKova's patch from ModdingWay: their roster file is awesome and the draft classes look good too even if they may not have CF and portrait pics - but it is all about realism and great gameplay with me. Do you think your draft classes will do with my PHX Association and their roster? :)

Yes! Sorry about that.

I think it depends on which of my pack's files you have in you directory.
Possible:
1)All - should work fine
2)Cyberfaces and global.iff still ok i think
3)just draftclassfiles.... hm images missing, cfs as well.

Now i have a question: does JuzaKova's rosterfile include just the .ros file or are more files replaced?
If it's just a file there should be no problem.

I would recommend you to try and share your experience

Re: NBA 2K11 enhancement pack

JuzaKova's is a full pack that is meant to increase the realism of gameplay so they focused on roster (for the 2010-2011 season + 2011 & 2012 draft classes) and sliders but they also have a big shoe pack. I checked their files and it is flawless, in fact it is the only patch that doesn't give any errors or crashes. So I think I will stick with it. But I really appreciate what you did for us 2K11 users. :) And here is the link to their work or should I say masterpiece? :D http://www.moddingway.com/file/9255.html

Btw, I tried some of your most recent files. I downloaded the whole pack and extracted the roster files and the draft classes. I started a new assoc. and every time I go to Scouting and scroll down at the bottom of the draftees something makes my game to crash with the 2011 draft class (maybe is just my game, who knows). And the Kader09062011cf patches.ROS causes an automatic crash right when I try to pick up my team (PHX) to start the assoc. It happened to me before with that roster patch.

OK, it's me again. It looks like I used your older version when I loaded the 2011 draft class and my game crashed. My bad! :o

Your new file works just fine and I will use it for my PHX assoc. because JuzaKova's draft class has no CFs. But I am still using their roster file because they were the best. I've read their only bug is the all-star weekend but I don't intend to play it.

I'm currently working on a bigger update providing compatibility with the NBA 2K11 total update by haaaaanis. I also think about adding a complete ESPN mod - although there is no conplete mod existing as of now.

alright - this is how you download 1.2 BETA:

1)select part 1 in the down left corner there is a pulldown menu where you select 1.2 Beta
2)click download
3)repeat steps 1-2 for parts 2 and 3
4) download part 4 (only V1.2 BETA available! so you do not need to select anything)
5) unpack using 7-zip
