Unfortunately I am not getting any stats kept up properly with my association (fantasy draft). I have tried several times. Not only are the box scores messed up but also Player Stats and League Leaders. It appears that the only stats that are kept properly are the team stats and standings.

Again, this is with a fantasy draft of 30 classic teams. I know you guys have tested for association without fantasy draft and you get Player Stats and League Leaders to be ok (boxes still messed up). That is not the case with fantasy draft. No stats are kept properly but the team stats.

Anyhow, just thought I would bring that up.

Don' t believe too much, but I think that de Iverson from Denver is png20002, Iverson from 05/06 season is png0005 and Iverson from 96/97 Philadelphia 76ers png number is 6026. Tell me if it worked

I just started an association with 05-06 Sixers then I started one with 01-02 Kings, then I started one with BOTH the 05-06 Sixers AND the 01-02 Kings... all worked just fine for me.

When I researched the numberscolor for the 69 Bullets, I came across something odd: During that 69/70 season, the Bullets switched their jersey font from the normal bold letters on the chest, to the "new" font with the little b and the 2 L's that look like they have hands sticking out. So for better accuracy, here are two possible alternative jerseys for the 69/70 Bullets:

Another oddity during research is that during the 83/84 season, the suns wore a jersey that had red font:





I can't make out if the color of the jersey is a light purple or a light blue, but the font and numbers are definitly red. So does anybody know if this is pruple or blue?

Hawk, sorry but the FAQ is not very helpful. I am getting wrong stats all over the place in NBA.com. I want to find out what am I doing wrong.

I have UAR 19 installed on a clean game-install, with nothing else in there. When I try to run either UAR 18 or UAR 19 and setup a customized league with 30 classic teams (and/or mix in a current squad), I get wrong stats for ALL but my team's players in NBA.com. So, when I look at my team, the stats are ok. However, when I scroll to other teams, it shows no players or a random player or two. League leaders show random players from other teams with no relationship to actually being league leaders. So, this is a bug I am having that i could not find answer to in the FAQ.

Do others have this problem when you go to NBA.com and browse through stats? After you sim a few weeks or so, a month?

I understand the boxscore issue. Actually, the last-played box score for my teams shows just fine the stats for my players (only the last game, just played/simmed). The older boxes are messed up. But that is in the FAQ. The problem I am having I cannot explain. Could it be the profile or something like that? I am using your settings that comes with UAR.

I thought this bug I was having was only if I have fantasy draft. No, it happens with a regular association and classic teams.

Someone please offer some advice!

My advice is, if it's not working for you don't use the roster. Sorry you didn't find what you were looking for.

EDIT: My last piece of advice would make sure you have the official PC Patch installed: NBA 2K12 Official PC Patch (North America)


After that, if it doesn't work for you I got nothing... it works fine for me (other than individual boxscores) even when I do fantasy draft.

I can assure to you that the retro suns used a purple jersey with dark orange fonts and numbers, but as a jersey lover i'm going to use both...

Alright folks... I have a temporary resolution for a couple of the issues being mentioned frequently

For those of you complaining about "Player Cards" crashing the game... I want you all to try this... although it's not an ideal fix... it works for me...

1. Start NBA2K12
2. Load ANY OTHER ROSTER OTHER THAN THE ULTIMATE BASE ROSTER
3. Go to the Bulls and view Derrick Rose's player card
4. Then go load the Ultimate Base Roster - player cards don't crash to desktop now

Don't ask me WHY this works... but it does seem to work... try it and report back

FYI: Player cards are NOT going to be accurate (in fact they will all be blank) but at least the game won't crash.


I believe I've also fixed the current teams from having screwy players in the individual boxscores when simming in an association/season. The NBA.com tab stats have always worked fine (as they do with the retro teams too) - but now I believe I've also solved the issue for the individual boxscores when doing a regular current team association.

yes, there is a way, first backup all ur save, then delete your NBA2k12 save folder, not only the 'Saves' but NBA 2K12 Folder which included cache, online date etc.....
there start NBA2k12, and create new user save,, once your can get into the home menu, save all the setting eg. user, Video, Control etc.....
then go to 2K share and download the newest roster after u press ok, quit game and get back in again, it should show the download it been made eg Shoes Roster....
then copy all your backup save back into the Save folder, Enjoy

Does anyone know of a file hosting site similar to FileFront that will accept files greater than 700MB. We're getting close to that number, and FileFront doesn't allow anything bigger than that. They've been a great host for the file, so anything resembling that site would be great. Please post if you know of a site that works similarly.

For the ultimate base roster I use portrait IDs based off of the official2K updates.... Albys makes his own players with different IDs so some portraits may be scrambled if you load his roster...

The portrait file the Ultimate Base Roster uses is MUCH better than the one for Alby's... it adds over 1000 new portraits without deleting any... In the next week or so the UBR will be just as accurate as Alby's in terms of current teams anyway. So I would just wait till the next version of UBR when the current rosters are updated to the present day. As it is right now the current teams are updated through late May - so still pretty accurate.

Yes. After you enter your cd key, go to the options menu and save your settings file with a different name. That's gonna fix your problem.
