Pre-E3 Poll: Will you buy NBA Live 13?

We're unlikely to get much in the way of detailed info on NBA Live 13 until E3 but after that, there should hopefully be a steady stream of news. In the meantime...are you planning on buying NBA Live 13? Why or why not? Are you likely to change your mind between now and October?

As with the poll in the NBA 2K13 section, I'm thinking it will be interesting to do this a couple more times before the game comes out, to see whether the previews change anyone's mind and if so, what actually influences that decision.

I'll be getting NBA Live 13, which I doubt surprises anyone. Aside from basically be necessary to produce any content for the NLSC, I am obviously a fan from way back and I'd like to keep the collection going (if only I could get my hands on a PAL version of NBA Elite 11... ).

Yes, unless 2K makes some major changes,or unless Live 13 looks REALLY bad, I think I just need a change.

Maybe As long as it is good, and I'd like to see it return to PC.

It will pretty much depend on if it hits the PC or not... I don't buy sports games for any other systems.

If it's out for the PC, I'll likely buy it. If it's not, I won't buy a console for this occasion. So I guess I'll vote for "maybe", but could as well be "most likely not" since a PC version is a big question mark right now.

I must admit the response so far is more positive than I thought it might be, without a lot to go on just yet and past shortcomings lingering in everyone's minds. I'm surprised to see that NBA 2K13 received a "Definitely not!" vote before NBA Live 13 did.

Without knowing much about the game, I'm leaning towards buying the game but I'm not 100% sure about it. I'm not sure because we don't know almost anything about the game yet, however I enjoyed Live 10 and some things that Elite 11 had interested me and if they're building some things from it then it has my attention. Besides, I want something different from 2K which I enjoy mostly despite there're some things that annoy me.

I'd say most likely. I've always preferred EA Sports games over their rivals for some reason.

Plus it's been 3 years since Live 10 came out, I will be looking to upgrade anyway. I don't really wanna repeat the gap I had from Live 99 to Live 10.

It's a must buy for me. It could be a roster update for Elite 11, and I wouldn't care. I need something different and new, sad that this fact alone is what makes me want to drop $60 on it.

I'm just really curious where and how EA goes with this year.

Seems there's a decent amount of positivity so far, here's hoping that what we see at and after E3 lets that vibe continue.

Yeah I would buy it for PC...Dont have a console so wont purchase a console for this. Excited to see if EA has the balls and creativity to 1UP 2k

If there is a PC version yes. I will also get 2k13 but that only because of the multiplayer. I will play the heck out of Live if there is indeed a PC version.

Only if Live 13 is for PC or if 2k13 is anything like 2k12. I got 2k12 less than a week ago and I'm already back to playing 2k11.

I'm going to pick it up. I enjoyed a lot of what Live did in 09 and 10 and some aspects of Elite seemed positive as well. I have faith in the Tiburon team and am anxious to get back to playing Live. Even though I grew frustrated with Live and quit playing from 06-09, the franchise has been my favorite to play historically.

Based on the direction NBA Live 13 is headed in I will purchase the game.

I voted maybe but I may end up purchasing both 2K and Live this year if they both have content that catches my attention. Thinking back, playing Live 10 was a lot of fun and if Live 13 is anything like it, it's a sure buy.

yes and more than likely i will be either Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards or a team Im not really a big of but they have some quality young pieces Detroit Pistons with Brandon Knight, Greg Monroe and whoever they draft

If NBA live is out for PC,then the most likely is that I'm going to buy it! I was waiting for the EA installment for a long time. Though there's a high possibility I will get a PS3 really soon. If so,I will buy it even if it doesn't get released on PCs.

if it come on pc, yes, but if no pc version (of which im quite sure there wont be, because theres no madden 13 for pc) then i definitely wont be (unless it scores a 8.9 or higher
