Hentzman's NBA LIVE 2000 Updates

i remember there was a switcher for 2001, but in 98 (and i tihnk in 2000 as well) they looked at your computer's date and gave you sunday jerseys on sundays, so i think you're just limited to the teams that had sunday jerseys in 1999

Sunday jerseys are not only chosen (activated) in season or franchise mode but also in exhibition games. And in a season mode, it doesn't have to be Sunday to get activated an alternate jersey. I've tried it out.

But you're right, the alternate jerseys are limited to the teams that originally have it and the limitation could have to do with a schedule file on the CD.

However, like I said, in the schedule files there are other teams with Sunday games in 1999/2000. Tricky!

OK, I checked the schedule files one more time. Now I think, a relation between those files and the alternate jerseys is rather unlikely. I even checked how many Sunday games each team had in 1999/2000, and the result is that teams like Dallas or Miami had more Sunday games than Chicago or Sacramento. However, with the former teams the alternate jerseys are ignored by the game, even when I add a **sun.fsh file.

There has to be another reason.

After all, I think, the limitation of alternate jerseys in NBA Live 2000 has to do with the nbawin.exe file. I checked all the relevant files, and there is no possibility for a setting or something like that. However, editing the exe file is impossible as well. There is no adequate editor such as the "PES 6 EXE Editor".

I think they will. Patchers don't need to wait for the approval process and upload their files to other servers as well.

New season hasn't even started yet, but there has been a significant change in the team pool. The New Jersey Nets became the Brooklyn Nets, including a new court, jersey, etc. I've made the court, so you can play with the Nets on their new home ground. Jerseys and menu art will follow, but some time during the season.

Now, I want to thank Mythbuster from 2k12 board who gave me permission to use his floor texture.

You're right. I will add an instruction to my next patches.

To get the courts or a patch into the game, you have to extract the archive into your NBA Live 2000 root directory. Then, you click on the *.bat file und the patch will be installed. It has to be a little program in the root named gfxpak(.exe).
