NBA 2K12 PC Patch Out Now

I guess if the patch doesn't work with the digital distribution drm, then maybe it won't approved.

Ronnie2K already answered 3 PC Patch related tweets today, which is a good sign. Plus, the answer you got from 2K support seems pretty credible, they were even specific on the DDs that are rejecting the patch.

What we were expecting, and finally got an answer about, is that the PC patch is a combination of the previous console patches and will "bring PC to v1.4". No new fixes then like the Association Record & Stats bugs. And no idea whether crash-to-desktop or soft/hard hangs have been fixed. I remember that in previous years they got fixed, so fingers crossed.

Only NBA 2K10, from memory.

Still hoping, they fixed the not working Online Associations...I dont want to play 2k11 till live/2k 13 comes out.

EDIT: Mass Effect 3, MLB 2K12 and the PC patch all released the same day. I'm a happy man for now.

The #NBA2K12 PC Patch just announced for 3 PM PST will be a combination of all previous NBA console patches.

I dont know what have been fixed in consoles but at least we'll be at the same point !

I already acquired the patch for NBA 2K12. Like last year it's MLB the Show.

But seriously, it will be excellent to get that patch.

The game has still been fun without it.

All I want to know is whether we got PC specific crash related fixes. If not, the only thing the patch whets my appetite for is maybe that I'll start a new MyPlayer.

Installed the patch... didn't get any confirmation at the end or a patch notes popup. Anyone know how to confirm it installed?

Properties -> details on NBA2k exe shows file version 1.0.1.1, but product version shows 1.0. Modified 1/26/2012

Well, January 26 is after the game's release date by some months, so you have the patch.

Quite a lot of files have been updated, including the global.iff file. Does this mean that superglobals will have to be redone for post-patch? I sure hope not.
