Can anyone please help me i can't get anything for the video to to fast for my eye to see. (need help on headshapes i have download blender plug in 2.5 but not no where to put it and how it works need help can some one write how it works the video is not working for me) :bowdown:

hey guys just a quick question. i've been having troubles with opening iff files with this modtool. whenever i would open one this would appear:

"java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\png1654.iff.temp (Acces is denied)"

java is updated by the way. thanks :)

guys, I have downloaded the latest version on blender ( 2.6a) but the pug-in import/export NBA2km of mod tool have no effect.. :( , what's wrong??

I mentioned in my tutorial that it doesnt work with the latest version of blender

nope. I tested out the latest version, and it didnt work. So i figured out what I used in 2K10 and that version worked for me. I linked to it directly in that tutorial

I put that file for 3ds max into the right folder, still i cant open it. I tried import and it wont show the file at all

Here is what i get.........Trying to open up a dorna xxx.iff file

Then after i export res.......I get this with photoshop.....

I can't open it!

Everything in the s xxx.iff and f xxx.iff files work ok though...
It's just happening with the dorna files...

Is anyone able to mod the dorna's?
If so what tools are you using?

can someone teach me how to mod nba 2k12 crowds? I want to get playoff crowd in "quick game" mode instead of having to go to "playoff mode" to get the playoff crowd...(i record nba 2k12 vids & edit) somebody please help!

Does anybody know, if (how) it is possible to import back an exported CUSTOM resource? I mean not texture or 3D-model, but those, marked as Unknown.
Was able to export, but when trying to import the appropriate resource, Import button simply doesn't work...

i dont think it is possible with this tool

and I just checked, it wasn't possible with any of the older versions either (going back to 2k10).


since it extracts it directly from the file though, you could hex import back in using a simple search for the IDs at the bottom of the n2kf file

The problem is i want that part of file to be enlarged by several bytes, so i wanted to avoid looking into IFF header manually, if MOD Tool allowed to auto-refresh it.
But seems like i'll have to dig in and update the header myself...

I've recently switched from 32 bit Win7 Ultimate to 64 bit Win7 Home Premium. I can't get this tool to work now... :(

You need to make sure your Java is updated, Java.com

get and install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions if one doesnt work
