Still nothing. When there's something to report, it'll definitely be posted. Unfortunately, there's been nothing further on the matter.

The #NBA2K12 PC Patch is days away not weeks.

Hopefully not, but it's definitely tough to shake that feeling.
Here's a
direct link to the Tweet, in case Ronnie's Twitter fills up before everyone gets a chance to read that notice.

Good to see some sort of update. Although personally, the must annoying bugs in this game aren't likely getting fixed.
Maybe a dumb question, but when this mythical patch arrives, the changes also will affect my current Association that I started pre-patch right? Likewise the My Player that was made pre-patch will be updated to have better trade logic?

Yes.

I'm hopping for pc patch for speed bullsh*ting, annoying trades and also 1-on-1 plays against defenders...
Thu Feb 16, 2012 6:32 am
What is this speed bug/issue?
Thu Feb 16, 2012 7:42 am
I saw a few vids for consoles with this issue, never saw it on my game though.

It' been in most NBA games I've played over the last decade, I don't think I've ever seen a game where the fastbreak ran perfectly.
The bug is that player speed is irrelevant when running the break, ie. Kendrick Perkins can keep up with Russell Westbrook on the break.
It doesn't happen all the time, but almost always occurs during the fastbreak.

It's not among the laundry list of fixes, so it's something else that will have to wait until next year.
Thu Feb 16, 2012 9:43 am
right, it went unfixed and ronnie said it wasn't going to be fixed

Come on man...
Sun Feb 19, 2012 2:35 pm
its possible that the patch will be after allstar...
Sun Feb 19, 2012 9:58 pm
any updates on when this patch will be release?
Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:43 pm
After NBA 2K13.

At this rate, it wouldn't be a surprise.

Not apart from the information that has already been posted in this thread.

Will the change be retroactive?
I am currently 3 games before the playoff begins and I stop playing because I may not be credited if I won the Rookie of the year and MVP (maybe). What do you get if you won these awards, will there be skills points or achievements? My worry also is maybe this will not be reflected in My Player Card that I won these awards.

I have been infuriated by that since the game came out, especially after all the talk from 2K producers regarding the enhanced realism of fast breaks this year.
There is, however, a fix for that on PC.
Michaelvlutz49 has posted mods on his blog that edit the EXE itself, editing parameters that are impossible to edit from inside the game. He has actually changed the game code, which baffles even me after all my CS studies. What he's done is increase the speed of the guards during turbo, and let me tell you, using one of his mods has gave me a totally different game. There's fast breaks from explosive guards both from me and the CPU that nobody can catch up with, any explosive and agile guard can go past his defender easier, etc. Speed finally matters.
Obviously, I can't link to it since it's against the rules to release or request EXE files, but his mods are worth mentioning and searching for, since he's patched something that even 2K itself has declined to patch.

You shouldn't have to restart any of your My Player or Association games once the patch comes.

so the update on PC patch is not really "Days Away"... well maybe 7 days or 14 days or 120 days....
Tue Feb 21, 2012 12:39 am
Hopefully there are no more announcements until its actual release.

Reminds me on why I prefer Live games with mods on it since you can actually modify on how the AI plays especially if there is problems with the gameplay and that is without touching the EXE files.
I'm interested on what you said and I might try his patches sometime.
