my 2k account?

ok can someone help me i created a 2k account when i first got the game (on the release date) and ever since i have been unable to log into it...not a problem at first since there where no roster updates until now.....so now i would like to play more and there is no way for me to just simply log into the account i already created...the game keeps wanting me to create a new account wtf is wrong with this game? i just want to get the latest patches and roster updates for the PC version is that so much to ask for? i dont want to create another 2k account ive done it like 6 times on the PS3 over a friends house. can anybody help me with my problem?

When you go to create an account go through the first two pages or whatever (birthdate and user agreement I think) and then on the third it will have an option to use an existing account.

here i am months later and still havent been able to connect 2k to the internet...nothing i wrong with my internet i use it all the time with any other game or just regular browsing. Every time I try to do anything involved with the internet on 2k it says "can't connect" what is going on?

These days, you'll need to make sure the official patch is installed to use any online features.

Change the name of what your settings are under.
