Realistic Sliders Thread (All Slider Discussions Here!)

This is probably a stupid question, and I'm sure the answer is somewhere out there, but can sliders be downloaded, or do I have to set them all manually?

Also, is there a consensus as to which are best?

Thanks

It is possible to distribute sliders by sharing the settings.ini file, but traditionally it isn't done because that of course wipes the rest of the slider settings.Sso more often than not, you have to alter your settings manually.

That's not a slider issue but it's likely caused by another setting; make sure the simulated quarter length is set to 12 minutes.

Hi everybody!
Is there a slider to reduce the comeback mode effect?
Thanks!

No, unfortunately not. I'd certainly suggest making sure you've got CPU Assistance turned off but beyond that, the CPU will still be able to utilise comeback AI in crunch time.

Slider settings, you mean?

Basically you just play the game, get an idea of what you want to change, make adjustments and then try them out. For example, if you feel there's too many blocks, reduce the blocking sliders, play another game and see if there's an improvement. Repeat as necessary for any aspect of the game you want to try and alter with the sliders.

Ah. To disable auto subs, just set the user substitution slider to zero.

And then I can substitute players or my starters will play all the game?

That's right, the CPU won't make any subs for you with the slider at zero.

Sorry for coming back to this again...
I want to play the game kind of a basketball manager game! So I choose simulation type of game in the dynasty mode! 1st question: regular or intervention?
2nd: Do I choose a controller?
3rd: Can I make the subs?

By now I couldn't even if I change the above mentioned slider to 0%...

Thanks, anyway!

Regular, unless you want to jump in and play the game. Don't choose a controller or you'll be playing the game. There's no coaching type mode supported, so you can't call plays unless you're controlling one of the teams.

I don't want to call the plays! Just to substitute the players on my own! Is that possible?

Yes that would be possible. Just assign a controller to the team you want to make subs for, make the subs, go back to the game, inbound the ball and then pause the game again and switch it back to CPU vs CPU.

I like Andrew's Sliders v2.0, but I'm looking for some nice sliders for Superstar level, 6 minutes.

12 minutes is very long!

You could try using my sliders anyway but perhaps raise the game speed if the pace is a bit too slow for six minute quarters.
