Yeah, I'd have to agree with that assessment.

That was quite well done.

I'm playing San Andreas right now to get a feel for the game. I'm really digging the music. I like over 80% of the music on the radio so I'm not listening to my User Created station as much as I thought I would. I hope GTA V will be all in Los Santos, like how GTA IV faithfully replicated New York City. You can maybe start in the southside, south central LA, Compton, Inglewood, Long Beach like in GTA III, but then in part 2 move over to downtown LA, with the skyscrapers, Chinatown, Japantown, Koreatown [K-Town] (note in the trailer the rfeeway sign said "Little Seoul"), and then maybe part 3 will go westward to the coast, Santa Monica (and the pier), Venice (and muscle beach which is shown in the trailer), and LAX [airport]

God I hope not. I didn't even get to the plane missions (got stuck in SF on the David Cross RC plane mission and the one where you gotta swim and plant bombs on that boat) but I might put the game and my save on this laptop and try it again.

I outsourced every plane mission to some online GTA forum for someone else to do it. Couldn't do any of them with the awkward controls.

I play SA online all the time with an online mod, so I'm extremely familiar with the layout. Curious to see if the layout is similar or if they just make it a whole new layout.

Forgot you could do that. I did that for a forklift mission in Los Santos. :P

Very cool, still one of my favourite games. Took me four years to finish it, but I got there.

I hpoe not either. Even now, I dread doing 'Flying School' in SA. It takes me less time to complete it now, but it's still a pain in the ass. I don't even bother with Zero's RC missions.

I have a feeling this game is right around the corner. Or is that the mod for GTAIV?

Awesome. But if it is real, it kinda looks small though.

It's a fake. The other one floating around with it from the same source is a blatant GTA IV photoshop.

Fair enough. Still, as Pdub said I wouldn't be surprised if the game isn't too far off. It has been over three years since GTA IV. Perhaps an April 2012 release.

They should hold off, until Fall 2012 or 2013. Releasing that close to The Third is just going to make the game look that much worse.

I hope not. Even now, San Andreas' "Flying School" gives me fits(though not as bad as when I first got the game).

Nice. I have no doubts about the game looking good enough, but I do hope that vehicles handle a little better, the game is a little kinder about redoing missions (perhaps having some checkpoints for longer ones) and side missions are completely optional, particularly the dating/friendship related ones.
