[ Jowe Patch Thread ] Retro Magic Jerseys Released

G'day guys, here's my first attempt at patching for the nba 2k series or an nba game in years.
Let me know what you think.

My Retro Magic Jerseys

Completely Re-done Pinstripes
My Brand new Retro Jersey style Mesh-holes
Corrected colours based on pictures and old basketball cards.
Usual replaced logos. ( Meshholes through the logos which is how all the jerseys were like in the 90's )

Notice the botched Home jersey shorts lines?
Also the alternate blue retro jersey had the wrong colour shorts trim.



Current stuff in the pipeline.


The numbers is the only thing keeping it from release, so if anyone wants to do the numbers let me know.


Still need to do the home jersey .


Got the Current , Retro 1 and Retro 2 done. Just need to tweak the colours more from more recent photos.

Still need to tweak the trim abit. But i thought i'd release it since i've been busy with battlefield 3 and hopefully this lockout will be over by the end of the week.

Need some opinions on these jerseys. Basically if anyone is interested in them at all.

Personally want to make the texture more subtle.

If anyone wants a non popular team done first I'm open to suggestions too, a colour tweak only takes a couple of seconds.

maybe you need to post a pic where he is standing still so we can see his face better. judging from this screen, ur melo need a bit more work. But yea good work tho.

Anyone got an idea where the mesh texture is hiding?

A quick whip up. Altered the colour and replaced jersey team logo. Also played around with the jersey texture lighting texture thing.

if you got the global.iff opened in the mod tool, subfile 908 has the really close up mesh textures. If you're talking about the mesh holes, that is in the jersey file itself.

Shoot me a PM if you need any help with the 2K file structure or how to do something.

what the eff, you are still around? Things have come along way since last time.

Haha, i've made probably 20 posts in the past 3 years, so not really... but the search for 2k12 roster patches drew me here.

How good is 2k12 compared to NBA Live 2003
Actually how good is 2k12 compared to EVERYTHING nba live ever did... it's the basketball simulator we all dreamed about back then..

Mate its almost perfect compared to the turds that we used to try to polish back in the day.

The game doesn't even need patches besides from the basic jersey colours and what not..

The face textures looked nice but the alignment in the nostrils is not perfectly placed and the mouth is over saturated but other than that the cf looks good and btw good to see you back been a fan of yours way back in 2003

Thanks man, yeah noticed that while testing mainly due to the photo i was using. But it'll do for now

Definitely the plan is to get around to all the teams and probably doing all the teams who aren't patched often first. So don't expect any Miami jerseys unless its a turd texture...
