2012 DRAFT CLASS

2012 Draft Class Version 1 - http://www.mediafire.com/?461wd1wycy8i26b

35 real players so far. Still a lot to edit (like tendencies), but it's a start. I might also lower the potentials a bit for most of the players.

I've also uploaded this on 2K Share, named "2012 v1" by RapboY.

nice work rapboy
been waiting for you to emerge lol
ive been making one myself but ive been tied down by assignments
i've done about 10 or 11 players and i just feel your harrison barnes doesn't look like him yet
too big of a forehead
also, i don't recall brad beal being that dark, and my rivers looks a lot more realistic with the afro hairstyle, with minimum size
just trying to help :)

west44: Thanks! I only started last year for the PC though so you might be mistaken a bit lol..

UniversalNoob: Yes he's on my top 60.

jzero: thanks man! i'm satisfied with my harrison barnes, there's just no way to make him look like the real barnes cuz the CAP system this year doesn't give you a lot of options on head sizes. brad beal is that dark in pictures and on youtube, so i don't know i have no other sources. and as for austin rivers, he doesn't have the fro anymore right now. my quincy miller is also ugly (just had to say that lol).

nah it's gonna take too much time.. you'd be better off just waiting for someone to release fixes for the rookie CFs and make a decent roster with rookies.. someone should make one soon :)

The way you rate prospects is really good. You're #1 for draft classes in my eyes. (Y)

P.s. you should add v2 to the nlsc database so i can vote for it in patch of the week ;)

P.p.s Check this thread for info on player potential in 2k12: http://www.operationsports.com/forums/n ... ntial.html
The general rule of thumb seems to be that anything over the magic number of 74 will see a player progress pretty significantly. There's also a big difference between 65 and 75. At 65 or under a player wont progress that much (maybe 2-6 pts depending on their age)... Anything over 80 will see the player develop into superstardom.

Synchromesh wrote:So for a 19 year old player with a base rating of 60/61 this is the rough potential scale (edit: Ignore scale for now) I have:

Potential 25-65: Progress 4-6 pts (role player)
Potential 67-71: Progress 12-16 pts (sixth man, average starter)
Potential: 73-99: Progress 21-28 pts (star, fringe superstar)

Among the "randomness" that was programmed into the game the fluctuation in progress will depend a bit on player height and minutes played.

I need to note however that I can't say "use this scale" at this point in time.

You're welcome Nick, I also saw your nictional draft class (nice lol) and it looks promising and I hope to try it out soon when i find time.. Yes V2 will be on NLSC Database.. and as for the potential thing, yes I'm aware of that (not that exactly but the concept), but I choose to do it the way I do because i think it's more in line with how the default rosters are made. So yes, I make my roster with the assumption that you are using 2k's roster. But of course, everyone's free to change it and re-release to their liking (asking for permission is optional, but prefered.)
