Custom Sliders for My Player, No CPU Trades

Postby [JM] on Sat Oct 08, 2011 1:23 pm

So, I was playing around with Cheat Engine and I came up with the addresses for every single option in the sliders. So far, I have tested it and it works fine.

Release History
2011.10.07 - Initial Release; Includes "Game Sliders"
2011.10.08 - Added "Gameplay Settings & No CPU Trades"
2011.10.09 - Added "Coach Settings, Playoff Lengths, & No Autosave"
2011.10.10 - Added Player height and weight.

I might not add any more memory addresses except for player tendencies, I believe that player attributes shouldn't be edited to enjoy the experience of the My Player mode.

How to Use (Refer to images for help):
1. Open tsearch or Cheat Engine, and then select nba2k12.exe as the process.
2. Find and load the NBA 2K12 Sliders file that was attached below.
3. Go to NBA 2K12 and set your sliders to your own preference.
4. Now go back to tsearch or Cheat Engine. On tsearch, select all of the addresses by using Ctrl+A and then click the smiley face to freeze the values. On Cheat Engine, select all of the addresses and then hit SPACEBAR to freeze the values. For the Gameplay & Others file, refer to the info below for what values to enter or change.
5. Now that you have frozen the values, go back to NBA 2K12 to save your game or you can test your sliders out in a game.

Player Height & Weight Values
Player Height
- Player height is measured in meters under 2K12, so the values must be entered in meters multiplied by 100. Those who don't know the metric system by heart can go to http://www.csgnetwork.com/csgcvtftin2meterscalc.html for a conversion.

Ex. 6' 8" player would be 2.03 meaning the value would be 203.

Player Weight
- Player weight is flat out in US pounds. So for people who don't have the imperial system by heart, http://www.metric-conversions.org/weight/kilograms-to-pounds.htm.

Great job! I didn't think someone would find them out & post them so quick.
If I'm not reading or rocking out, I'm probably walking or watching others walk.

I am actually working on that right now. I'm currently looking at adding about 8-14 addresses ranging from game speed to CPU trades. I have to create a new My Player game, since I have already passed the trade deadline. So, I haven't been able to test some of the new addresses I have found.

No CPU Trades!

No trades at all up to February 2nd. Pretty good.

Speaking about ridiculous My Player trading logic. My player was drafted by the Bobcats, and we're now a playoff team thanks to ridiculous trade logic.
Cavaliers trade: Ramon Sessions, Antawn Jamison
Bobcats trade: Boris Diaw, Corey Magetter

Trail Blazers trade: Brandon Roy
Bobcats trade: Tyrus Thomas, DeSagana Diop

Heat trade: Chris Bosh
Suns trade: Mickael Pietrus, Steve Nash

Lakers trade: Lamar Odom
Bobcats trade: D.J. Augustin, Eduardo Najera

Pacers trade: Paul George
Spurs trade: Tony Parker

OMG yes!!!! You got the no trades working. Cool! I was going to do it the hard way and change a lot of the players potential rating like this guy over on OS forums said, but now no need too :). Thanks.

this pretty much summarizes what i hate about the CPU Trade in my player mode lol.

However, the thing that irritates me the most: The CPU trades every player on your team...
I'm a PG, got drafted by the Jazz, and I'm almost done with my rookie season (I only play key games). There is not ONE player on the entire team that was already on it at the start of the season. They literally traded EVERYONE! That is a serious issue. I just hope this gets fixed with a patch.

Thank you so much !!! You just made this game worth every penny ... FINALLY (with the right tweaking) it plays so much better than 2K11.

I only have one issue I can't seem to figure out. Everything works in Myplayer from game sliders to setting up "quarter length". The only thing I can't seem to enable is "Games in Season". How do I switch to 58 or 29 games?

Or maybe I already have ... will I see 58 or 29 games only in the "Schedule" (for Myplayer). Everything else works, so I'm not sure if this has been changed as I still see 82 games in my schedule and I only player 8 so far this season.

Thanks again, appreciate what you did very much! (Y)

I found the code using Association mode. Similarly to Association mode, you have to choose the number of games prior to starting your My Player. Basically, you have to choose the option at the main menu before going to My Player. I'm gonna see if it would work while heading into the 2nd season. At the moment, I'm at March 16. It's gonna be a while since I have like 5 key games within a 2 week span. So, I'll give you a heads up.

Anyone looking to play a 8 hour game in My Player? Apparently, you can set the quarter length to whatever you feel like.

Look at some of the sliders in the OS forums. Some good ones you can try out and use in MP mode than tweak them to your liking.
