meaning the 85'86 Bulls with Gervin... the 89'90 Cavs and such? just more fleshed out? if so, does that mean they left in the same Jordan Challenges? (simply adding the Hornets challenge) are all those teams still available then? i am just going by what it says on our wiki page. source?

No there is a thread about how the legend stuff will work, try researching the forum before posting because you might find your question answered

The teams that are listed in the Wiki page are all of the teams that have been confirmed to date (and if I understand the Developer Insight correctly, that's the complete list). Any of the other classic teams from last year that are not on that list can, for the moment at least, be assumed not to be in the game.

That already makes a decent number from last year.

A nice unintentional bonus for PC users, is that 2K doesn't usualy delete unused art files year to year.

There's that too. Depending on what can be done with future versions of REDitor, maybe it'll be possible to utilise those hidden art files on the 360 as well.
