To be fair, there are ten players yet to be announced.

That was definitely the old Houston jerseys in the Jordan clip.......finally, a fitting tribute to The Dream and the Rockets!! Looked like a pretty good likeness of Vernon Maxwell going up to block Jordan's dunk.....they had a great rivalry in the early 90's.
This game is going to be sweet! Time to upgrade my laptop to something better so I can play this on PC.

Wow guys the shoes quality is awful are they gonna change that some day ?! And i don't really like the player models . The best player models were at NBA 2k9. Hope the gameplay it's still the BEST .

Just going by the video I think we can confirm the following players and teams.
1985-86 Boston Celtics, Sam Vincent(#11) appears in most of the Bird screens.
1986-87 Los Angeles Lakers, Kareem has the compleatly shaved head and I see Byron Scott(#4) in several shots.
1991-92 Chicago Bulls, I see BJ(#10) Cartwright(#24) and Grant(#54 with goggles) in the back court @0:36.
1993-94 Houston Rockets, others have pointed out Hakeem and Maxwell, I see Otis Thorpe(#33) behind Jordan @0:36.
1991-92? Portland Trailblazers, You can see Magic driving on Duckworth(#00) and Drexler(#22) @0:30
1985-86? Atlanta Hawks, Bird nails a Jumper on Randy Wittman(#10) @0:33, Kareem Hits a Skyhook on what looks like Tree Rollins @0:34.

(edited to add:) I can't seem to place what year the Sixers are, the only player I can make out from the screen shots(besides dr. j.)is a place holder #96. No one wore that number and he's obviously a CAP. I'm hoping it's the Fo-Fo-Fo(well fo-fi-fo)1982-1983, but I can see them going for either 1979-80(dr. j.'s under the basket sweep) or 1981-82(rock-the-cradle dunk).

Exept for Drexler, Its a pretty certain list, its just the players that we dont talk about a lot. Still, nice finds.

Just read that 2K12 will contain full rosters as opposed to 11's "fill ins" on rosters. But in the Jordan Challenge the teams didn't have fill-ins, they simply had starters play the entire game.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to enable fill-ins so there's a bench, even if it is generic players?

They've fiddled with it in Jordan mode so the bench never comes in precisely because there's no bench. If you play with any of the classic teams outside Jordan mode, though, the generics will play.

Exactly. In the game's feature mode there are no benches. The Jordan Challenge is Jordan vs other teams' starters challenge.
