This is really pissing me off.
I will explain what I am experienceing.
In the original jersey fsh files the jersey pictures were decent looking and used about 6000 colors per picture.
When I import a updated BMP it lloks like shit. Instead of using the 6000 colors it can use and is allowed to use EAGE imports my bmp with around 500 but it makes it look like 100. The team name looks especially bad and choppy. Is there any way to fix this?
I have tried to import a 256 color file where the jersey still looked better than the 500 but still the same shitty result.
Smeone help me, please.

This is all I see.
Nothing wrong there, I dont know what the problem is, it is most likely a video card/driver issue.

hello..
i clicked the raptorsaway.bat n the NBA live 2003 folder...
aftr that.. a new folder added.. its "toaway folder" ... am i suppose to cut and paste it inside the XTEAM folder?
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 2003\toaway or
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 2003\render\xteam\toaway
pls help..

I don't know what you are saying, but if you have gfxpak in your main live 2003 directory (usually C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 2003)and exrtack the bat and the fsh in there too, the file will be added directly to the viv files and no folders need to be created od made.
I hope you understand.
Also does any one have an answer to my original problem?
Sun Dec 22, 2002 8:40 am
no but yea i got same problem (had to get the original file from my live cd) with the raptors jerseys it had holes all over it..
Sun Dec 22, 2002 9:01 am
I really don't know why you guys are having problems but it works fine for me.
On another note, it is really pissing me off that my beautiful pistons update is being screwed up so much, there has to be a way to make it look better.

Since I can't get the problem maybe one of you should post a pic.
SOMEBODY has to be able to fix the stupid color problem when importing.
Sun Dec 22, 2002 11:23 am
Well I figured out YOUR problem, BUT I can't fix it.
When you update a jersey using fshtool you get no transperancy problems but the name on the back becomes all weird and fucked up.
When you import using EAGE you don't get the name problem but all the versions below the 512*512 version get the pixelated holes in them. I think wasn't seeing this because of using high textures which there is no problem with.
So you have to pick your poison it seems, and making new jerseys is useless until a solution is found.

DK,
Try using the fshtool...it's better quality.
p.s. Interesting Menu colours behind your Vince...hehe
...how'd you get it like that?

I think that is Travis Lee's frontend graphics patch...
Sun Dec 22, 2002 4:26 pm
Oh right. That's an interesting patch isn't it. What's his site url again?...actually ...ah don't worry i'll go dig it up
.
Sun Dec 22, 2002 4:44 pm
Hey DK...why you making patch installers utilizing gfxpak? You can import graphics into this year's version without that.
Mon Dec 23, 2002 2:54 am
The backgroung is from Travis Lee's site.
Using fshtool makes the name on the back unreadable, which fucks up the jersey.
I install with gfxpak because the Customart crap takes forever and I want to play now.

Have you found a solution, DK?
