Re: OKC - [39-10] - Trade deadline news

I wasn't really sure if I was giving up too much or if I got the better end of the deal. But I'm really happy with it anyway.
At least I have some holes in my roster that I can fill in the off-season now. Backup C and SG probably. Shaq and Gomes might not return.
Plus Griffin fits much better into my fast paced game style with all the fast breaks. Love never really did as he isn't that fast or terribly mobile.

So in the 6 games since the trade, Griffin is averaging 24.6 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 8.8 apg. Definitely an upgrade on Love. :)

Re: OKC - [44-11] - February Summary

Postby Andrew on Fri Jul 08, 2011 9:44 pm

Even with all their roster shakeups and Rose's departure, seems the Bulls are still able to take advantage of a weak Eastern Conference. No surprise to see Miami still atop the conference, especially with Bosh continuing to dominate. Looks like there'll be an epic clash with the Warriors or Blazers in the Conference Finals, barring a series of upsets from the sim engine.

I just hope I don't have to face Denver, Phoenix, Utah or San Antonio during the playoffs. Only because I seem to face them every year.
Dallas would be a good series first up given what happened in real life. Minnesota or Memphis would be nice too.

Dallas don't have Kidd or Terry anymore so Barea is a starter alongside Beaubois. Can't explain how he's getting those numbers though.

Oh you just missed two rebounds for Griffin to achieve a Triple-Double!
But that alright, what's important was you got the win :applaud:
I guess Watson's 15 turnovers was a big reason to the Bulls' loss

Rebounds are always hardest for me to get. Griffin is a triple-double machine though.

Luckily most teams in the eastern conference are poor, so the Bulls will likely make the playoffs. (Y)
