I believe you'll make short work of the Jazz to face the Blazers in the Finals. I'll go with an all-Florida ECF with the Heat and Magic.

Shit, those scores are messed up. 55 in one game, 155 the next?

Good job sweeping the Suns! (Y)

How did Tiago end up in NY?

I think you won't have really big problems against the Jazz.

I'm hoping that Utah put up more of a fight than Phoenix did. Heat vs Magic would guarantee a tough finals opponent, for whoever makes it that far.

Thanks.
I wish the sim scores were more realistic. Just another thing they need to fix on the next game.

Free agency I think. I can't remember any trade involving him this year.

I really thought that this would be a hard game after the first quarter. But they didn't show up afterwards.
Lopez set a new franchise record with his 21 rebounds. 50 is probably the most I've gotten in a game as well.

Favourites all advance to conference finals

Both series in the western conference went to 6 games, whilst both in the eastern conference were swept 4-0.

Western Conference

1. Oklahoma City [67-15] vs 5. Utah [46-36]

Image Image

Oklahoma City looked to have this series tied up after 3 games, but Utah showed their resolve and forced it to 6 games.
Kevin Durant continued to lead his team in scoring and Russell Westbrook had the Thunder offense running efficiently.
Devin Harris and Randy Foye were the main contributors for the Jazz.

The Blazers went behind in the series twice, but eventually their class shone through and they advanced.
There was no repeat of their first round heroics against the Lakers for the Kings.
The combination of Paul, Roy and Wallace proved too much for Sacramento's defense to handle.

Eastern Conference

1. Miami [61-21] vs 4. Detroit [43-39]

Image Image

Despite Chris Bosh missing the entire series through injury, the Heat made short work of the Pistons.
Even with Travis Outlaw playing at center, Detroit were unable to contain LeBron and D-Wade.
Another step in Miami's quest for redemption after losing last season's NBA Finals against the Thunder.

2. New York [46-36] vs 6. Orlando [44-38]

Orlando were certainly thought to be capable of winning this series, but nobody predicted them sweeping it.
Dwight Howard and the Magic continue their unbeaten march towards the NBA Finals.
Melo and Amare played well in this series, but didn't get enough support. Nelson had the better of Billups.
The Knicks will now turn their attention to bringing in a third superstar during the off-season.

Conference Finals preview

Image

It's the conference finals that the fans were craving. The Thunder take on Portland and Miami face Orlando.
The Thunder and Heat seem to be on course for a re-match of last year's NBA Finals.

Western Conference

1. Oklahoma City [67-15] vs 3. Portland [48-34]

Image Image

When Portland traded for Gerald Wallace, everyone thought that they could reach the conference finals.
Then when they added Chris Paul and Emeka Okafor they suddenly became a real contender for the championship.
This match-up of northwestern division rivals has been predicted ever since the Blazers pulled off the Paul trade.
There are 5 all-stars involved in this series. Horford, Lopez, Durant for the Thunder and Paul and Roy for the Blazers.

Stats Leaders
Thunder
Points: Kevin Durant - 23.0
Assists: Russell Westbrook - 10.3

Eastern Conference

1. Miami [61-21] vs 6. Orlando [44-38]

Image Image

In the east it's a match-up between the two teams from Florida. Both are currently unbeaten to this point.
The Heat will have a massive disadvantage in their fight to contain Dwight Howard. Chris Bosh will miss the series through injury.
Reports suggest that he could be available to play again in the Finals. Whether Miami make it that far is still to be seen.
After guarding Carmelo Anthony in the last round, things get tougher for Jason Richardson. Now he's up against LeBron James.
There is also 5 all-stars involved in this series. LeBron, Wade and Bosh for Miami and Howard and Nelson for Orlando.

Big fourth quarter effort, that looks like quite a duel. The addition of Paul has made them quite a formidable opponent from the looks of things but I have confidence that you'll get the better of them.
