Michigan Fab Five PREVIEW - Jalen/Webber/Juwan/Court DONE

I'm working on a Fab Five mod, which will include roster+the 5 obvious cyberfaces+retro Michigan jerseys. First up is Jalen Rose:

Is this for the classic teams of the NCAA Project...I hope so, can't wait for more people to do this! This would make this roster set unbelievable...

yeah you need to give em 90s haircuts like the high-top fades. jalen face could use some work. looks more like derrick rose. look for more reference photos. that will help.

Haha I'm well aware, it was attached to the Webber reference photo I used.

If other people start doing similar stuff than sure, but I don't want this team being the only classic team in the project.

The photos are nearly impossible to find unfortunately. Jalen and Chris both were essentially bald for most of their first year, King and Jackson had fades, and Howard was the only guy who sported the high top fade for any extended period of time.

I agree that my Jalen face looks a lot like D-Rose, which is funny because that isn't the headshape I started with. Any suggestions on how to change that?

^Unfortunately Rose isn't a hidden player this year. I did take his cyberface from 2k9 and used that as a base, but the problem isn't the art, it's finding a headshape to use. I'm having problems editing the eyes on any cyberface too, I keep getting some weird clipping stuff going on.

I'm so used to Jalen having a goatee that it just looks strange without it too, but he didn't have one in college. I made an "older" version that looks much more Jalen-like to me, but wouldn't be appropriate for this mod.

Watch ESPN's 30 for 30 o the Fab Five for reference pics. Just pause it and make screen grabs.

^I've been doing that, but there's no HD source out there, so the screencaps are sort of shitty quality too, and not really any better than the images out there already.

Made some progress (I think) on Jalen. Reshaped the eyes, mouth, and facial structure more. Still toying around with the headshape, but think it's getting closer.

Updated Jalen and Webber in the first post. Moving on to Howard and then King and Jackson.

I'll follow this thread. I like where it's going!!

Updated with a Juwan preview (flat-top+toned down eye bags+thinned out face), court preview, and Jalen/Webber have been updated some as well.

EDIT: By the way, apologies for the slow progress. School has been busy, and learning how to patch courts took way longer than it was worth.
