Yeah i found that out that he did get the triple double, just didn't know at the time of the post. Yeah, that is the most since at least 2001, but i heard that, "Manute" Bull, is that how you spell it? That center that died a while ago got 17 blocks in a game.

Elmore Smith had 17 I believe. Manute Bol had 15 twice.

The NBA TV crew
had a little fun at his expense, mostly his urgency to score that last basket and the celebration amidst a blowout loss. They've got a point, though if nothing else the 12 blocks were impressive.

Cleveland wins should be slapped for not knowing the proper spelling of Manute Bol's majestic name.
Thu Mar 17, 2011 8:45 am
But then again, when does he know the proper spelling of anyone's name?
Thu Mar 17, 2011 8:59 am
Ameri Stadomire, Carmole Anthony, Pau Casol, Steve Hawes (should be Spencer), and Manu Ginboil automatically come to mind...

Those are epic, that's a pass.
But Manute's must and cannot be misspelled.
Thu Mar 17, 2011 9:44 am
Lol, all i can say is that i'm learning.
Thu Mar 17, 2011 9:48 am
You are learning. Manute Bol has done his job and smiling upon you from heaven.

I'm liking the look of Perkins, Ibaka and Durant on the floor at the same time.

I'm watching the orlando magic at milwaukee buck game, overtime against the bucks??? But so far a monster game by Dwight Howard, and as of right now he has 31 points and 21 rebounds, this reminds me of Dennis Rodman days of his monster rebounding.
I'm a terrible typist.

How the fuck did S-Jax only manage six points vs. the Rockets?

The Rockets' crushing defense!

Portland leading Cleveland 37-12 after the first quarter.

40-12 now, if they keep the pace up, then the final score would be 160-48.

There was a funny highlight today, when Blake Griffin was going up for a dunk against some player, i couldn't make out who it was, but Blake got charged with an offensive foul. The funny part was when they showed a little scene, where Steve Nash had a big smile on his face and it looked like he was laughing. This was the game today between the suns and the Clippers.

the best part was Warrick's reaction to the hit

Iffy charging call (yeah, he's outside the restricted area but it's way too easy to draw charges these days simply based on that condition) and a pretty weak technical, considering other players have gotten away with much worse displays and he didn't run at the ref. I wouldn't suggest it cost them the game but I'm not a fan of the calls.
Mon Mar 21, 2011 8:29 pm
Definitely an iffy call. I'd call it a 50/50 play that deserve no foul call for either Griffin or Gortat.
Mon Mar 21, 2011 8:36 pm
They should have let it go. Gortat's still a member of the Posterized group.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 2:54 am
Nope, its a charge. Gortat established his space right as Griffin was taking off. Blake should have done the same thang he did to the ,Knocks player, and just jumped straight up and throw it down superman style.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:13 am
I disagree with it being a charge. Gortat was on tip of toes, meaning his position wasn't established and was going to step on the line in like nano seconds anyways regardless of contact.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:16 am
I honestly don't care if it was a charge; I wasn't sure about it, but that dunk was awesome.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:24 am
This wasn't a charge, so I think Blake's shouldn't have been as well.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:35 am
Being on your toes doesn't mean anything. You could be doing a hand stand and as long as you establish your position and don't move from it before the guy takes off, its supposed to be a charge.
