The same way the Bobcats beat the Lakers more often than not and when the Bobcats beat the Cavs three times last season.
in an effort to stay on topic: the complete opposite of this is the fact that the Mavericks have beat the Bobcats EVERY TIME they've played in Bobcats history. Also Tyson Chandler is a beast. He's playing offense, he's 7th in rebounding (per game) this season, while still being a great defender!

I remember when people were saying that NOH was on the better end of the deal in Okafor-Chandler trade. Also there were notion that Chris Paul was the sole reason that made Chandler play well.
Good to see Chandler getting some credits finally.

I hope Cuban and Donnie resign him this off-season.

Hoping for a win in today game against the Sixers.
GO MAVS!
Wed Mar 02, 2011 12:51 pm
Nice win by the Mavs over the hot 76ers
Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:09 pm
J-Kidd with yet another triple-double.
Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:35 pm
But Tyson Chandler has a sprained ankle
Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:41 pm
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully it's not serious and he'll return in the next couple days.
Wed Mar 02, 2011 2:43 pm
The Mavs won't have a game tomorrow so hopefully he would have enough rest to play.

It seems we are getting Corey Brewer instead. So deep in the wing position right now
Thu Mar 03, 2011 3:25 pm
i wouldn't say that. the mavs have been searching for a replacement since caron went down and have gone through pavlovic and have settled with peja & stevenson, so i'd say that's their weak spot at the swingman position and brewer fills that need. dammit chandler's on my fantasy team so he needs to come back quickly
Fri Mar 04, 2011 3:09 pm
So it's official we have Brewer now. I don't expect him to have that much impact on offense, but defensively I think he will be need.
Sat Mar 05, 2011 9:18 am
The Mavs really need an upgrade at the wings and Brewer, Stojakovic, Stevenson, etc, & co. don't really cut it. Dallas should've made a move at the deadline and are now stuck taking up the Corey Brewers of the league.
Qballer wrote:settled with peja & stevenson
Not really. Since Beaubois came back, Stevenson's barely seen the floor.
Sat Mar 05, 2011 1:11 pm
Last time I checked the Spurs don't exactly have a quality wing.
Brewer, Stojakovic and Stevenson are serviceable in that they provide a mix of shooting, athleticism and defense.
Sat Mar 05, 2011 1:18 pm
For real. Manu's got nothing on Brewer, Peja and Stevenson.
Sat Mar 05, 2011 2:01 pm
I'm referring more to a SG/SF and referring to role.
Manu's closer to a PG/SG.
Sat Mar 05, 2011 2:02 pm
But I'm sure Richard Jefferson and James Anderson appreciate your efforts.
Sat Mar 05, 2011 2:28 pm
Mavs still on their winning ways, beating the Pacers 116-108
Sat Mar 05, 2011 2:40 pm
And Corey Brewer with an impressive debut. Almost fouling out in 5 minutes

any body know if caron is trying to come back this season? i think he is, but i thought his injury was supposed to end his season.

He might be back for the playoffs, depending on how far they go.

No chance he comes back. Even if he miraculously recovers in time, a recovering Butler wouldn't get PT behind the myriad replacements.
