Good old Barney is one for sure.

We gonna keep these to generics only? Or do we want NLSCers? And what about real lifers like KD?

Put in the good NLSC'ers (like Martti, X and myself). After all, Chara and Tyson aren't really generics.

Maybe an All-NLSCer team and an All-ALIB team.

It was clever but too easy. It's Sasha Vujabitch we're talking about here, and he's a no-namer unlike when Moss said something similar to Tom Brady irl.

Here's the proposal as it stands re: All-ALIB teams Project.

Will take a bit of research into the thread and creation of ratings/tendencies. Let me know if you are keen.

What I reckon is we make an All-ALIB teams for the end of each season played. How we select the teams is still undecided. But we'd fill teams for 09-10, 10-11, 11-12. 12-13 was simmed so don't worry about it. And we will also have a 12-13 and 13-14 (current season) team later. 5 teams seems pretty achievable. Another option is to have All-ALIB team for 2008 - 2012. And then All-ALIB team for 2012 - 2014 as well an an All-NLSCers team for the entire duration of both stories.

Thoughts?

I didn't even see his idea.

EDIT: Plus, Hondo came up with the concept last year. So his predates badreligion's. :) Hasn't been done cause it was too much effort for me. Maybe Hondo can dig up the PM.

Don't mind me, read only last bit of it at work. Seems unrelated now that I've read last page or so.

EDIT: So what's the deal with this? Is this like your roster sharing? Can't you just share your Association file on 2k Share or something? I'm sure there is somebody around who still has 2k9 on 360. Otherwise, I remember back with Live '04 I sent my Denver Nuggets Dynasty file to honor glow & he imported my team into his Dynasty.

About 6 months ago, Hondo PMed me asking me for ratings and appearances as he wanted to make the players/teams from this story into a playable file for NBA 2K11/2K10. I declined as I did not have time to do all that and then he asked me to upload the association file and he'd do it all and I declined as I wanted it to stay unique.

However, he is still very enthusiastic and Lamrock has also mentioned at times that it would be fun to control some of the teams in this story.

So I was thinking, maybe it'd be a good idea that we combine forces and replicate these teams into teams for 2K11.

Another option could be to build the memorable rosters into 2K11. For example the Nash-Boozer-Roy Blazers :)

I don't have XBL and too lazy to connect my Xbox to the net. Only thing I can think of is using the USB method and seeing if I can upload my association file on the net. Someone here can download it onto their Xbox and work from there I guess.

I'm still thinking about whether all of this is feasible.

I like the idea. Would be cool to play with those guys in 2k11. The major problem is that you are too lazy ( :P ) to post the ratings tendencies etc.

So we must find a way to let Houndy do all the work ... :D Dunno how though.

Adjusting 2K9's ratings (50-100) for 2K11 (25-100) would be easy, the hard part is applying the numbers to the players. The tendencies can be copied as it is since in 2K9 and 2K11 both have a range of 0-100.
Hot spots for 2K11 would also be a bit tedious since 2K9 doesn't have it.
