Kidd is 40... AI is about 38... Tmac is about 35... This is not veteran age, it's dinosaur age.

SUBMISSION TIME!

Is Jason Kidd worthy to have his jersey retired in Seattle? Hope to see some opinion column/s on the topic!

Jason Kidd is worthy.

Not yet, he needs at least one championship over the next three years and needs to keep his production at this level for at least the next two years.

Yes Kidd is worthy but he should be retired on the Nets or mavs

Kidd should get his jersey retired in New Jersey, Seattle, Dallas

No, Kidd sucks. He's done nothing. Not worth wasting time on him. He's no Steve Nash.

Kidd's jersey deserved to be retired.
Fri Jan 28, 2011 9:20 pm
But why should it be retired? Has he really done anything different in Seattle when compared to other teams he's played for?
Fri Jan 28, 2011 9:22 pm
Can't really say that Kidd is a top performer in your team, but Kidd's leadership is gold, or maybe get his ring first?
Fri Jan 28, 2011 9:26 pm
I think first season, Kidd made a huge difference. He was also great in the playoffs. However, every season afterward has been pretty much the same as that first season when he played.
I guess if he wins a title with the team, maybe his number would be retired because it's his first ring and he showed loyalty be prolonging his career. I'm not sure though. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Maybe Kevin has the final say since it's his team.

You also lost when he was healthy

That is true.

I think if you win a title, then yeah, you may do it out of sentimentality. Otherwise, he's essentially in the same situation as he was with Dallas. Solid, veteran starting PG. Capable of big games, otherwise he's just solid. Can't defend quicker PG's (like Westbrook, the real deal Stealth PG).
