Rules:Registered NLSC members, or
Agents, will be allowed to enter contest that will award their client, or
NLSC-er, with Points. These points work for two purposes: (1) Impact Draft Stock (2) Player Improvement.
Only 1 NLSC-er per Agent.(1) Impact Draft Stock: (Before Draft Day)NLSC-er's draft stock will be determined based on how many Points they have accumulated during the season.
(2) Player Improvement: (After being Drafted)The Points earned during the current season (season before the draft) will be carried over to the NLSC-er's rookie season. These points can be used toward the player improvement of individual rating of a NLSC-er. Only the
Agent is allowed to decided when to use the points, how many, and in what area(s).
NOTE:
Agents will be limited on how many Points can be used per month, details on the limit will be determined at the end of each season.
No monthly rollovers on Points. Unused Points expire after 1 season.Earning Points:Throughout this association, various
contest will be posted, each with their own details on that contest rules and how many points can be earned. Contest can range from trivia questions, to predictions, to user submissions, and more.
Agents can continue to earn more Points during any season, but cannot use the newly won points toward Player Improvement until
February of that season. The Points will be dated with the draft year they were earned to differentiate. (ex. 2011 Points vs. 2012 Points).
Winning Contest This season, the contest will be more competitive, so all the
Agents need to stay on their game! For each contest, a
winner will be announced. The winner will be the single
Agent that collects the most points in a contest. But what will this mean?
The Winner will recieve all the points earned, while
The REST will recieve only HALF of the points earned.
Prizes:Grand Prize Winner (#1 Agent with the most Points) - NLSC-er will be projected to go top 5 and have a muli-million dollar shoe deal to the brand of the
Agent's choosing
Middle Group - (#2-#3) NLSC-er will be projected to be in the lottery
Bottom Group - (#4-#6) NLSC-er will be projected to go Mid-Late 1st Round
Last Group - (#7-#8) NLSC-er will be projected to go in the 2nd Round
Role of the Agent:As an Agent you are commited to your NLSC-er to help them have the best NBA career possible. It is your job to improve their draft stock and keep them focused on improving their talents (by earning Points).
Agents may also publicly (in this thread) or privately (PM me) spread rumors, morale issues, trade/contact demands, or anything else they feel is necessary for their NLSC-er to make an impact in this league.
An
Agent, at anytime, can also decide to pull their NLSC-er from the current draft (2011) and enter them into the next draft (2012). The NLSC can be projected anywhere and will still be allowed to be pulled. All earned Points will be carried over to the next season.
Agent Participation Now that your NLSCers are finally going to enter the big leagues and be drafted by a NBA team, the
Agents will now be asked to be even more active than ever.
Agents are encourged to do anything they see fitting to give their NLSCer the best career possible. When
Agents comment, they MUST post in Twitter format by using the following:
- Code: Select all
@INSERT NAME:
Any comments posted WIHTOUT the Twitter format will be reguarded as normal user comments. THE ONLY EXCEPTION: If the
Agent writes me an entire for the "I Am A Reporter" challenge, they do NOT need to include the Twitter format.
Example:
KidJustin- Wow, my NLSC needs to be traded
this is an example of a reader making a random comment

Agent making a trade demand for his NLSCer
Player Imrpovements Once your NLSCer has been drafted, you can can now use the points toward their development.
Agents are allowed to use the points to improve thier NLSCer's ratings, but (for this season) are limited to only
25 points per month, without rollovers. (Ex. using 20 points in month 1 DOES NOT mean you can use 30 points in month 2)
Also
Agents must follow the scale below when using points:
Rating Range | 0-65 | 66-80 | 81-89 | 90-95 | 96-98 | 99 |
Point Costs | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
If the top row is the current rating of the NLSC at a specific stat, then the bottom row is how many points are needed in order to improve the rating by 1.
NLSCers shoes All NLSCers, except the #1 ranked NLSC, will wear ONLY generic brand shoes. They cannot upgrade to a name brand shoe until they have proven themselves in the league. How do you do this?
Agents must earn 25 points from contest AFTER being drafted, once you have reached 25 points, you will be sent a PM notifying you that you may select what brand your NLSC will wear. Depending on the status of your NLSCer they may also be offered an exclusive deal from one of the shoe brands.
Agents can contact me via PM or a post on this thread.
