Did anyone bother to mention to the guys at 2K that Blake Griffin is very possibly the most "impactful" Power Forward in the NBA (careful word choice, haha). It's been over 15 years since a rookie had TWO 40 point games (let alone just 41 games in) but Grif also set the rookie record for double-doubles in a row, and after a slow start and rotation change he has become the 26 Ppg, 13 Rpg, 4 Apg, 1.0 bpg, 0.8 spg in the past 18 games or so......
And he's rated.... FINALLY, a 82?????? And you didn't change his tendencies to shoot more either.... come on 2k.
I like to simulate seasons for fun (with different players getting 36mpg each "season" i sim, so I can get a reference for their ability to play, as well as their Per36 stats in 2k11 and compare them to real life.
THE LA CLIPPERS ROSTER...... STILL...........
BLAKE GRIFFIN:
(after 10 season sims it's so close Im using whole numbers, haha)...
- 9 Ppg, 8 Rpg, 2 Apg, 0.3 Bpg in 30 minutes per game......... thats so awfully incorrect. Hed put up 20/10/3 in friggin 30 minutes, haha.
ERIC GORDON:
(been in the top 10 in scoring all year.... up for MIP player for sure at 24 PPG in reality; but a 79 overall in the 1/15 new roster:
- 18.5 Ppg, 4.5 Apg, 4 Rpg, 1.3 Spg, 0.5 Bpg, 42%FG(WHY?) and even 34%3pt
Om reality he shoots 47%FG this year. though 35% from 3pt for now.... while scoring his 24ppg on only 17FGA (rather efficent). Did I forget that he's a top5-10 SG Defender too? Just overall smart IQ palyer, etc....... hes the 82, not Griffin.
Grif is a friggin 86-89.
BARON DAVIS:
(yup, i guess those first 4 games destroyed him? for 2k ratings, he's down to 75 overall now...)
Baron has averaged frigging 18+ PPG and 8+ APG the past 10 games...... as he has gotten healthy and been able to play........
Why do players get so raped overall if they have the flu for a week? haha
