NBA Elite 12 and EA Tiburon

Does anyone know what EA Tiburon's stance is on NBA Elite 12? Are they going to improve and build upon NBA Elite 11's model, or are they going to start from scratch?

I personally think that they should build off of the NBA Elite 11 model. NBA Elite 11 has some solid concepts, and an extra development cycle would really do it some good. EA Tiburon could spend the dev cycle polishing and improving NBA Elite 11, adding more features, and tweaking the game.

I believe the official word is that they are building off of Elite 11. I dont have a link handy but I am near 100% sure that is what they are doing.

As I've said in other threads, I can't imagine they'd start over from scratch again since that was one of the things that put them in such a difficult position with NBA Elite 11. It seems unlikely that they'd go back to NBA Live 10 when they've invested time in developing new stuff for Elite 11, so it seems a safe bet that they're polishing and building upon that.
