No disrespected intended since I am just a fuckin' consumer of all this great stuff, but I can and do appreciate quality

But thank you! If only you knew the number for the items johndoe changes, then it'd be an easy fix for ya. Hopefully you do! I look forward to finding out!

The GLOBAL has nothing to due with Redness or color, the photomod which has enb settings and palate effects control the color. I included one but didnt say it would work for you, each persons monitor differs so different tweaks adjust colors better for Mine and yours can be different. By the looks of all your pics you have a bad monitor cause they all look really washed out lol.

teddyj, I understand it all, but nevertheless thanks for explaining.
BTW, you are completely wrong in regard of judgment you made about my monitor. Actually, if you see the colors in the picture I posted washed out, it means that it is you that has a bad monitor in regard of correct color representation. I am probably one of the few in here who actually uses an 8bit panel monitor, so I am one the few who can actually tell when the colors are washed out, too bright and so on. I am not bragging by the way it is just the way it is with 6bit vs 8bit monitors, especially with those old school TN panels with 0,262m colors where the picture on it is far from real colors. Here's a small intro into 6bit and 8bit panels: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/colourdepth.htm. Read on it and maybe you'll decide to upgrade your current monitor. I have had at least 3 TN panels, 2 S-IPS panels and 1 H-IPS panel and I can tell you that TN panels (especially the older models) are far, very far, from real/correct color representation.
I am currently using NEC LCD2690WUXi2-BK (http://www.nec-display.com/ap/en_displa ... index.html), which is an entrance monitor model for professional photo editors if you can say so. So it is basically a monitor which, unless wrongly calibrated, will show the actual real colors with no forced screen tuning like unnatural over-saturation and so on..
You can go here and enter the name of your monitor: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/search.php? ... lect=model and see what type of panel your monitor has. I am guessing that it's an old school TN panel.
