as for player, who finished 2nd in scoring only next to the great nikos gallis in 1987 Eurobasket, player who scored 32 points in one game in Seoul, and averaged 18 points per game in the mentioned olympics being a solid defender as well, i bet, sarunas marciulionis deserves at least 86 rating. and tiit sokk isn't worth to be rated that high, because except his playmaking skills and three point shooting he hadn't got any other goodies to be mentioned :)

Hey BAYAG,

I didn't look at the forum for a while and I've found out this jem... I's so pleased that you're working on Tracer Milano that I've just added a picture of Bob McAdoo (dated back when he played here in my town) to my avatar.. Tracer Milano won the grand slam in 1986-87 (Euroleague, Italian Championship, Italian Cup and Intercontinental Cup). a true legendary team. Two links from youtube from that season:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_1lNt_eYSs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZd01xNdab0

Some tips…
PART 1: PALATRUSSARDI (Olimpia "Tracer" Milano stadium)... see attached file

PART 2: JERSEYS... see the attached file

I'll provide you players' references with correct height, weight and numbers as soon as I find an old handbook I know I have in some box. I'll also provide you players' portraits and a quick "scouting report" (at least for the players I know). (Y)

wow thanks fabri...let me know when you can get me that roster info....

ok...I think I can make 2 or 3 more classic euro teams before i start transferring the rest of the nba teams.as you know i had issue in the past with creating too many teams that would crash..If anyone has info (rosters ,height, weight, position number, pics suitable for portraits, youtube vids...etc let me know.) Keep in mind I'm not a euroleague fan so it may not be perfect.I get all my info from youtube and the euroleage website, so you guys probably know more than me.. I just think it would be cool to include some past euro champs.

how's this lists sound
'89 or '90 jugoplastika split (partial))
96' Panathinaikos BC not started)
'99 Zalgiris Kaunas (not started)
2004 maccabi tel aviv (partial)

national teams
87 greece (done)
88 ussr (done)
92 dreamteam (done)
2006 spain (undecided)
2008 redeem team (done)
58' philippines - highest placing of an asian country in the fiba championships. (partial)

so add those euro teams to the nba teams already completed

54 minneapolis
55 syracuse
56 philadelphia warriors
58 st louis hawaks
62 lakers
63 celtics
67 phila sixers
72 lakers
73 knicks
75 warriors
76 celtics
77 blazers
78 bullets
79 sonics
82 lakers
83 sixers
83 spurs
85 nuggets
86 celtics
87 lakers
87 hawks
87 nuggets
89 pistons
91 warriors
92 bulls
92 blazers
93 suns
95 rockets
96 bulls
98 jazz
99 spurs
00 lakers
01 sixers
02 kings
03 nets
04 lakers
04 pistons
05 spurs
06 heat
08 celtics
10 lakers

there might be more i'm forgetting lol. so every team that won an nba champiosnhip not including back to backs since most of the teams are essentially the same are included..except the 1st champions 1951 rochester royals. I also have added some memorable teams that i enjoyed watching back in the day..

How about Luis Scola 's 2006 TAU Ceramica instead of Jugoplastika Split???
All others are perfect IMO (Dominique Wilkins' 1996 Panathinaikos etc etc) (Y)

hey BAYAG I think someone may have asked you this before.
But why not bring your talents to 2k man?
You should start making classic teams on 2k11!

2K already has some classic teams, but BAYAG is working for Live series since Live 06. If he turns to 2k11, you need to wait for a release. He is a master on Live 07.

Actually glen asked me the same thing when 2k9 came out. I just never found the time to figure out what patching tools to use or how to use them. I like patching on the little free time that i have...Ive made so many teams , but i have a feeling the game will crash eventually unless i subtract some.

I thought about making them..has anyone created the 512x512 jerseys for them?

fabri brought up a good point about how the yugoslavia national team dominated the scene, so imma look into that.

lets see what i can come up with...i appreciate all your guys help..

I've tried to post it directly in .doc format but maybe there's a limit for .doc files because I'm unable to do so... I have to zip the .doc file in order to post it here...

Thanks man... :) Personally I'd go with a team made by the best players from those three years (1989-91)... My selection would be the following...
GUARDS: Petrovic, Danilovic, Djordjevic, Komazec, Zdovc
FORWARDS: Kukoc, Radja, Paspalj, Savic, Cutura
CENTERS: Divac, Vrankovic

Please think about it... it would be really cool!!! :-D

Anyone know the name of the arena in the youtube vid?

Personally I think it really is a pity that you don't patch for 2k, many others in the community will think the same way too,

2k patching is pretty straightforward.
I think you have patched too much lol, but if you patch on 2k, you can really enjoy the teams that you've made since 2k is so realistic.

Basically all 2k files are stored in iff files.

A player's cyberface is stored in a file called PNGXXXX.iff, each player pretty much has a random number.

In each cyberface face file, there will be:
3D headshape file( The player’s 3D headshape)
the player's face texture ( similar to live
the other textures like the green and alpha texture is pretty insignificant and straightforward.

There are currently two tools to open the iff files, you can find them in the 2k11 release section
The NBA2K Mod Tool and the NBA 2k cyberface converter.
Both of the tools are quite straightforward, just importing and exporting stuff.

You export the texture files as dds and can edit it using photoshop
You export the 3d headshapes as CFF or N2KM and you can edit them with blender, a freeware.

For roster editing, a very reliable tool REDitor is in it’s alpha stage, and will be released within weeks.

You may already know this but hope this can change your mind and bring you to 2k.
There are hundreds of guides out there especially on youtube and the 2k sections.

:D happy thanksgiving...

finally got a chance to complete the tracer milano court..i still have to make 9 more players for the team though. thanks to fabri for the help (Y)

Maccabi court 2004
credit to euroleague06 team for the maccabi court. i made a few modifications ( center logo, added final four logos, changed floor) to make it look like theire 2004 championship home.

Tracer Milano court 1988 - credit to dahl for the floor texture and lightmaps and daddie9 for the backboards. Fabri also helped by finding the proper logos.. Thank you all.

just change the courts filenames inside the viv to whatever team you want. (Y)

Heres a download link for the maccabi and tracer milano courts..enjoy :D
