Nice comeback in the series. If you beat the Kings, there is no one who could stop you. Not Jay Gray, not LBJ. Keep it up, bro. (Y)

If you win game 4, you win the title. If not, who knows?

MESSAGE TO THE READERS

Thank you everybody! These milestones seem to come up pretty often now. It's good that this is still kicking and alive.

I just want to say thank you for the support and well wishes for my team. As I have stated before, the Stealth will go on for at least another virtual season (my aim is for 2). I have reached the 2000 replies mark and I have also passed Badreligionau's view count (not to mention that he started his earlier than mine). The reason I bring that up is because I see him and Martti as my main competition for Story of the Year (No offense to Valor, Lamrock, Clutch). I am very competitive so I do hope I can scrape through with a win for the inaugural award. So for me to surpass him in view count and for me to reach 2000 replies are 2 milestones for me.

Again, I thank you - the readers - as none of this is possible without all of you.

Shout-outs are as follows. Once again, do not feel snubbed if you are not mentioned as this is only off the top of my head.

Lamrock - I trust reads every word I put up and knows all the ins and outs of ALIB. Once again, thanks to him, this is still possible. Keeps me motivated to keep churning out updates.

Valor - Thank you for what you wrote above. You could have been classy by reserving that spot for this post. :P Just kidding!

Hova - My dynasty brother. :) I still hate you for resurrecting the Sonics. No - not really. :) Thank you for continued support and generous praise.

Marrti - My favourite dynasty maker on the forums. (Y)

Thierry, Chris0o, Hondo, Dare, The X, puttincomputers - You guys are awesome for still following after so long.

I know that I've missed a lot of dudes out. Sorry, I'm just super tired. :(

Thanks for everything again guys. Stay fresh and keep it real!

Yeah! If we had more dynastys like badreligionau's and more associations like Yours, this place would be awesome! Didn't you win association of the year?

There's a story of the year. A mix of the top 3 Live stories and the top 3 associations. There can only be 1 story of the year.

Martti won Dynasty of the Year. I won Association of the Year.

Now comes down to Story of the Year.

Everyone please vote 1 Sit (by pming Martti ASAP) and don't give preferences out to anyone else. :P

Thank you.

No extra points.

Congrats on the milestone, and thanks for the shout-out! Between this and ALIB II, you'll easily surpass 100 pages. All of them, gold.

Thanks L-Train. I was thinking if the two threads were combined, it's be the most posts in a story thread by far. :)

Sort of like the game I had, I committed turnovers that cost us. But damn, for middle school game, one of the other players had fucking mucsle. 5'11 with muscle. We never got a rebound

Wow, I feel with you as we had a soccer game today against the only team that has not yet won a game (after 13 games). Well, after beating the 3rd and the 5th place (we are around 10th and need to get 8th to stay in this league ...) we lost against those suckers 2-0.

WE JUST CAN'T WIN AGAINST TEAMS THAT SUCK .... fuck it. We win against the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, but loose against the 12th, 13th and 16th. I hate it.

Kind of like the Bobcats. Winning record against the Lakers (all-time) and then we drop to Indiana

How do you get out-rebounded by a 5 foot 11 guy

Could it be a subconscious thing? maybe when you guys know they are the winless team you kinda lose the edge you have against those strong teams

Sit, as I said on fb/msn, just work hard and improve for a revenge next time, nothing you can do about it

I didn't even have a chance to change it.

That bites man. that would've made me sick to my stomach espec. if you had the hot hand :?

Reminds me of a league I played in once. We were the second worst (if not THE worse) team since we had this hack Iverson-wannabe point who killed us every game with his bonehead shoot-first mentality, poor decisions and fancy forced passes i.e., turnovers. We got trashed repeatedly in some laughable blowouts.

I played SF and in one game vs the 2nd best team, we're actually hanging down to the closing minute somehow (they obviously didn't take us seriously) but still trailing by 4. the crowd of family & friends as well as two other league teams playing just after us, is going nuts sensing a major upset. I'm in the adrenaline 'zone' after making some crucial defensive stops and my shot is also locked-in falling from silly range. My mind is calm and clear except for one thought, "TAKE OVER" and everyone on the court feels it. I'm fouled on a drive and hit 2 FTs to close within 2. We have one sub-10 second possession left after/if we can get a stop.

Ball goes the other way and they force a shot which I board with just over 7 secs to spare. I wave off the PG (lol) and charge the ball up myself seeing two defenders and a third on his way to meet me at the top of arc. Everything seemed in super slo-motion even though I'm full tilt speed with guys jumping out arms raised. Somehow I elevate, clear them all and could release without being blocked but spot my bud (not the PG) in my right peripheral WIDE OPEN waving his hands.

I dish it as I'm clobbered but it’s a perfect pass that he's stepping right into. Catch, elevate, release no one within a mile of him and feet inches behind the 3pt arc going for the win. Three defenders and I watch it leave his fingertips, perfect form, horn sounds in midair like a movie… it's on line but too hard, rattles in and out. My heart sunk and I felt like puking but I still got a lot of "good game"s from the winning squad.

Anyway, not quiet as painful as getting looked off by your bud Will, but still kinda PO'ed at myself for not gunning the last one. I'd bet money you didn't sleep a wink

btw, 'grats on the milestone (Y)
