Aside from a couple of areas in which he has improved, LeBron
was an eighteen year old with the skills of LeBron.

lol - today's LeBron.

I'd still think KB and KG are better than Lebron, mainly because they have rings.
Lebron could go down as yet another legend who never got a championship. I think the Heat ain't gonna make it this year...maybe another Lakers-Celtics finals. Remember, Phil Jackson gets his championships in sets of threes!

I know, that's what I was getting at; he already had a lot of those skills when he came into the league, though granted he wasn't quite the player he is now.

So Brian Scalabrine is a better player than Kevin Durant? I don't think you should bring up the subject of rings when comparing players, especially because players don't win rings by themselves.

Coaches do.
And btw, I won a ring with Durant in my Live 08 dynasty.
Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:11 pm
What? Coaches? Seriously?

The Lakers could've won a championship this season without Phil Jackass. All a coach is for is to call timeouts and design plays, he has no control of the game whatsoever.
Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:13 pm
Then how come they make millions a year just sitting around the bench?
Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:15 pm
Money defines how good someone does something? So you're saying Joe Johnson is the best player in the NBA because he's getting the highest salary in the next 6 years?
Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:19 pm
No. I'm referring to all coaches in general. They make so much money, uh, coaching.
Pfft, Joe Johnson may not be the best, but he's definitely the greediest.
Thu Sep 16, 2010 1:19 pm
Fair enough, I just don't take rings into account when comparing players as they don't define talent.
Thu Sep 16, 2010 4:49 pm
Example
Adam Morrison = 2 rings
LeBron = 0
But we all know who the better player is

If you're talking about NBA Live, then you're right, but if for the real life, you're really underestimating the power of coaches.

So maybe I am.

But seriously the main point I was trying to get across is that when comparing players, rings are Badger's way to go.

Of course it's Ammo.

... wait for it...
Because he has a more epic mustache!
Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:12 am
Get over the stache already...
Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:18 am
It's hard to get over epicness. You're not a man if you do so.
Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:25 am
Whatever. You counted Lamrock's man points.
Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:37 am
Fuck Lamrock's man points. Wow, I've gotten really off-topic lately. My bad Andrew.
Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:59 am
To Axel's credit, the stache is the way of the future if my dynasty is anything to go by
