Is there a way to batch .dbf changes

Thu Mar 04, 2004 12:01 pm

I was wondering if there is a way to batch database changes. For example, I love Andrews patch and will use it whenever there is an update. The problem is I have custom shoes on some of the players and as soon as I change to the new rosters the changes I made will disappear. I am hoping there is a way to do a batch change on the databases. I think there was something like this in earlier games in the live series.

Just wondering, thanks for any help.

Unfortunately it isn't possible. BLOTCH isn't compatible with NBA Live 2004's DBF files.

lilrepole,

thank you very much for the info. i'm trying to figure how to figure out a way so that i'll always be able to change the shoes, headband, etc. for a set of players. i'm hoping to be able to create a batch which i could execute after any roster update. if you know how to do this, could you give me an example using keith van horn's shoes and adding a headband to tjford. if you give me a base to work with, i think i can figure out the rest.

thanks for any help you can give me. i appreciate your time and effort.

a bit of a problem, the batch gets confused since van horn's name has a space, who's roster do u use, andrew's or ben's so that i can make him change based on his player id (i dont know if andrew or ben have changed any player id's........)
