Yay, the silence is broken. Too bad it's a complaint, lol.

2,5 seasons... I'll take that. haven't tested it myself or whatever, I will see later sometimes if it's the same here.

here's a new update: version 3.1

feats:

- Ariza stole #1 from Ike Diogu
- Wesley Matthews a quicker release on his jump shot (was way too slow, now average)
- Paul Pierce and Goran Dragic have their original jumper back

- tendencies and hot spots for Celtics
- Celtics give up less open shots (coach profile revised)
- many other coach profiles tweaked, and some hot spots/tendencies (Blazers among others)
- foul trouble for Varejao and Ellis toned down
- made Mike Miller a lil slower so has less fast break dunks, now LeBron and Wade are finishing the breaks more

- removed second position "PF" from a lot of centers to manipulate subbing patterns. Lakers had Bynum and Ratliff on the floor at the same time at stretches :!:, same for Z and Anthony on Heat... with Haslem as 3... so they're only C now. Also changed Splitter s if he comes in Duncan would move to PF and not the other way around which happened.

- tightened up rotations. the subbing was too crazy. starters getting subbed out after 6 minutes and returning in the first quarter, with scrubs who had 8 or 6 minutes showing up much too early. Overall I gave starters more minutes wherever it was realistic. (Detroit is still a mess.. )

Enjoy!

ok, I'll fix Pooh.

About Eddie, if somebody knows his ID from his coach.iff, then we can rename Collins to that # and he'll show.

I can't edit coach profiles as I don't have the full editor.

- Rasheed and Marbury and some old players are back in FA's (with different portaits)
- Dexter Pittman is 45 and not 54

i had tweak some of the rookie's body types. ill share it to you later so you can merge it up in your 3.2 or 4th version.

ok, cool (Y)

I know about Sheed and Starbury and so on. I'll give them another identity or something.

Spanoulis has Harangody's portrait. All those guys should probably be removed..

If you don't know how to get rid of players (you probably do) , you should just go to the free agent tab in REDitor and just put -1 at the end of the players you want gone (Sheed, Marbury, Spaunoulis ...) (Y)

Bynum (as PF) and Ratliff (C) playing together happened to me as well, that's what i said about the importance of 2nd position.. i also like the increase in foul settings, coz before, a quarter will end w/o a foul from the cpu, though i havent seen how it plays in simulation, now the cpu are fouling more (Y)

question: where's Sun Yue, juan dixon, etc? how do i get them back in the game? coz i need more free-agents to fill my d-league

Ah yeah, good call. And no, I had no idea.

thanks. I'll probably just keep it up until I'm satisfied though. ;)

p.s. can you tell me the ID for Eddie Jordan's coach.iff? So I can replace him?

I don't know, they might be gone..

justinpot wrote:so who are the people who are supposed to be gone in this roster?

they're only free agents anyway, some retired, etc. So it's not a big deal for gameplay as it is.

You're welcome. I think you're missing Josh Chilldress' CF... :)
he was a lone CF in one download, I actually can't find which one right now..

edit: I found it. Kova Free Agency Rosters on the first page of his thread, 3rd link in his thread. Chilldress is included in that one.

Eddie Jordan is coach102.iff.. But I reccoment using staff numbers from my roster.. You can't replace Jordan with Collins if they have the same iff number because portrait will remain Jordan, and CF will be Collins.. Thats why I put Collins under coach199.iff.. No portrait, but at least there's good CF..

thanks.

I figured he'll still be the portrait but I don't really mind, just want Doug Collins to show on the bench :)

Here's the next update: Version 3.2

fixes:

- Shaq = #36, Erden #86, Pittman #45
- Joey Graham @ Cavs and in rotation
- portraits of Pooh Jeter, Latavious Williams corrected
- Spanoulis, Mark Blount and others who had wrong portraits (of rookies) now have generic portrait
- Sheed and Wally removed from FA
- Jeremy Lin's skintone

I gave Erden #86, #50 is on his wiki-page but this pic gets the benefit of the doubt:
Image

and remember to visit Kova's Free Agency thread and download ALL the necessary additional files from his Free Agency (links in his thread, link to his thread on page 1. This is of course if you don't already have them.

Also, if you want Killer Crossover's Doug Collins to show up in the game with this roster rename his coach.iff to 102 instead of 199. you might want to back up Eddie Jordan just in case though.

Have fun. :D

:chug:, glad you like it

just ran a test, quick sim and I just arrived at the playoffs of the third season. so whoever said that about the crash after 2.5 seasons, it's not true at least for every team.

I controlled all 30, and I did turn everything off so I didn't have to manage lineups and it also sims quicker without roles on and chemnistry and all that stuff.

My advice for people who are planning very long associations test out how far it goes with your favorite team in simming, it might differ from team to team. I honestly don;t know but maybe..

the biggest bug about playing multiple seasons as of now is the rookies not developing. My advice is upgrade them yourself after a season. It's also more realistic sometimes. In real life, players concentrate on parts of their game and make it better, while some other skills stay the same. So for example improve John Wall's range after a year, things like that. If you have the patience to play long associations it's a small investment to improve the realism. It's less effort than getting rookies realistic. Hopefully I'll have time to make a draft class too.
