The Letting Off Steam Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I have a couple accounts (accidentally clicked I was under 13 for the first one), but the Wolves fans don't like me telling them that they have an 8 win team, and the Offseason isn't over yet.

So...a dissenting opinion can get you banned?

And we're accused of being dictator admins and engaging in politics here.

Dissenting opinions are an easy way to get yourself banned from most forums. Especially if there's a group-think hive-mind active.

Finally I can let off some steam in a positive way ... all exams finished and I just got my life back. Hell, I even had fun cleaning my room today because it did not involve any kind of learning. Also I had to break away from my "learning beard" (Since I will never be in the Playoffs, I just let it grow while I'm learning for exams), I feel a bit naked right now :)

Good to hear your exams are done. Funny you do the "learning beard", as I did the exact same thing for each of my CA exams (Y)

Because the domain isn't setup properly, or ownership lapsed.

Just use http://forums.nba-live.com.

Julia Gillard looks like losing the election over here because she doesn't have an imaginary friend or frivolously spend taxpayer money. What the fuck?

We've been advising everyone use forums.nba-live.com since the move in 2008. Seeing as though the old domain has lapsed though, time for us to update the header.

Abbott wouldn't be so bad, so long as he follows the example set by previous prime ministers. Harold Holt comes to mind.

I have a whole host of problems with Abbott, but even if I didn't the reason Gillard's falling in the polls is utterly retarded.

You can just google nbaliveforums and it comes up right away. It's what I use to get here any way.

Easier to just update your bookmarks to forums.nba-live.com.

It shouldn't be, it's still redirecting to maddenmania.com. In any case, we're not using that domain anymore and everyone should update their bookmarks or come in through the main page.

It's redirecting to the forums again for me too, not to Maddenmania.

Just tried it in Firefox and indeed it does. Nevertheless, I'd recommend bookmarking forums.nba-live.com.

At last, I finally decided to quit on my job. I'm just hoping that I can find a replacement for me but if not I have to suffer more torture in my life.

Good luck to you, Dare. Hope both Lean and you find a decent job.

For some reason, I feel just comfy using www.nbaliveforums.com as I been pretty much typing it everytime I got here. I am just glad that it's back on, well... at least for awhile, I guess. Screw Maddenmania.

Good luck to you good sir. Apparently you have a job replacement already so that's great.

It's already August and still I'm not employed elsewhere.

So Lean, you change your mind in accepting that escort service job being offered to you? :cheeky:

All I need is to type 'n' on the address bar or 'fo' when Maddenmania was screwing it up.
I use Chrome.
