Better auto-substitution patterns

Postby conkeso on Sat Feb 21, 2004 4:58 am

My idea:

A "substitution menu" that would work for simulated and played games.
It would consist on a list of all your team players with options like this:

-% of playing time desired
-If team is losing/winning by X points with X minutes to go, bench/put on the court
-If his shooting% is under X with more than X shot attempts, bench him
-If we need defense/3pointer to win or go to OT bench/put on the court

That shouldnt be too difficult to add to the game

Of course we need a PC game interface for this to work, not the Console/TV sized menus and fonts EA brings every year :?

Editing substitution patterns would be great. At the very least, it would be effective in creating a realistic All-Star game, where the CPU subs as it would in a real All-Star game.

I'd like to be able to create a depth chart for the auto-subs. So I can decide who I want to sub in at each position first.

That's definitely a good idea.
