That rumor is way back 2008, look at the date

It wouldn't surprise me if he echoes those sentiments this offseason though, especially if LeBron does leave Cleveland.

In other news, rumours abound that the Supersonics may relocate.

Impossible!

That's as preposterous as the rumor of Magic Johnson having HIV.

Wasn't that when Sauru didn't need a wheelchair?

Apparantly the Lakers are thinking of pursuing Raja Bell and Bell wants in on playing for the Lakers.

The article said that Byrant and Bell have struck up a mutual bond. Since when did that happen? I was under the impression they hated eachother after 06...

Re: Lakers Thread

I guess there'd had to have been some grudging respect there. Kobe wants to keep winning championships, Bell wants back in the league and would probably like to go back to playing for a contender. Seems a good enough reason to bury the hatchet if they haven't already.

Well Kobe and Artest worked :D

Anyway who would you think to fit in at the PG among the free agents. There is Luke Ridnour, Jannero Pargo,Steve Blake,Sergio Rodriguez and Jamaal Tinsley (I think).

I personally love to see Blake, he is very reliable PG not as clutch as Fisher but still good.

Re: Lakers Thread

The triangle doesn't rely on a PG. The Lakers need a player that can defend other PGs.

Re: Lakers Thread

shadowgrin, Is Kyle Lowry a free agent? if so then he can be that PG defender.

Kobe's finger may be permanently damaged.

http://www.sbnation.com/2010/6/29/15430 ... ly-damaged

He might never play again without wearing support for his damaged right index finger.

The middle knuckle on that critical finger on Bryant's shooting hand is so debilitated by arthritis after the past season of misuse and overuse that there may be no real way to fix it.

Guess he may have to shoot with the middle finger for the rest of his career.

refashioning his shooting stroke to put more pressure on the ball with his thumb and middle finger – trying to use the splinted index finger only as a guide. With the help of Lakers assistant coach Chuck Person, Bryant retooled his entire follow-through.

Chuck Person! Woot!

Overuse I can understand, but did anyone else read that and wonder what activity they're referring to in saying he's been misusing that finger? Just strikes me as an odd thing to say.
