Good stuff, thanks once again for the heads up. (Y) The Draft preview video can also be found here.

The GameSpot preview is nice, movement is looking pretty slick to me though obviously responsiveness and the like can only be judged by hands-on experience. For those concerned about the rim physics in previous videos, it should be noted that the rim bends on one of LeBron's dunks. I'm liking the sound of the controls and can't wait to try them out, though I'm eager to see them in action in five-on-five gameplay and hopefully, the new offensive moves won't be too easy to exploit online or offline. Here's hoping the five-on-five AI is up to scratch as well, though given the partnership with Synergy I would assume the aim will still be realistic player tendencies and abilities.

no prob, waiting to see 5 on 5 gameplay. Everything looks great,i'm liking the defensive slide.

Yeah I like the sound of that too. Should be effective in scooting over to cover a player with the ball, hopefully there'll be some blocking/charging calls if it's used aggressively (or effectively).

Awesome! They improved the blocking animation, the footplanting and added the side hop/slide to cut off a drive that Sovartus suggested.

i'll have to say it does look good. I like the movement of the defensive player how he slides. i like the post up and drop steps. i hope the learning curve is not to difficult. Still a little concerned about how the RS works for both dribbling and shooting but it looks from the video that it shouldn't be to hard to catch on to

wow the blocking animations are completely improved and also the animations are more fluid and smoother cool stuff :cheeky: but im not saying that i will be 2k to elite
they just keep posting vids and introducing more controls but they just dont know what will appear in 2k11 this year. i smell mike wang and the VC had more good stuff than this and also theyre just watching every videos that has been posted in elite and theyre making a solution with it making theyre way into a excellent basketball sim..

BY the way thnx for the great video that have been posted im impressed

Why do they make Nba Live 10 look so bad? :) It didnt even look as bad as they made it out to be. But Wow this game looks lethal! Who needs Mike Wang? I think im going to love the new controls. More complex but quick n responsive. This seems like a must get. I might be playing this as much as I played nba live 2005 when it first came out which im still playing by the way. Its unfortunate for EAsports even though Nba live 10 was good and Elite 11 may be better its hard to re-gain trust from all the fans that theyve lost. And some theyll never regain their trust. Its almost like when you first meet or go out on a date with a female you like and that one time something goes horribly wrong and she never talks to you again. No matter how much better things get for you because that memory is stuck in her head. So i understand the people who are frustrated with EAsports basketball games. But this game looks like it deserves a chance.

Durant and Jennings look uncomfortable in that video. Maybe they saw early on that they're wearing almost the same shirt.

The 7 minute video was real nice for a development stage video. A lot of fluidity and some things I was hoping to see were showing u in the video which is nice I was impressed with what I saw at this stage.

Nice videos!

But, you don't have to write "MUST SEE" on new videos on an NBA Elite forum. Everyone wants to see videos.

The way the Elite producer is looking at the interviewer is unsettling to say the least. :|

The hop-step variations got me very interested.
The user can dictate the speed of the moves done in the RS. (Y)

Hey, Connor Dougan is the man. He is one of the gameplay producers who hung out with the group and took a lot of notes throughout the three days. It must have been his staring, fidgeting, and lip-licking that was unsettling.

It wasn't 'ghey' unsettling, more like 'I want to cut open your head and taste your brains' Hannibal Lecter-like unsettling. I think he's capable of using the 360 controller to surgically cut off the interviewer's skull.

Looks good, going back to NBA Live 95 with this game. . . I Love the Total Control

I'm gonna watch the video again later, but from what I seen in both, Live is gonna be fun to play this year

A guy said something at the os boards that kind of bothers me a little about this game. The shot block controls & animations are nice and all but how would you be able to contest the shot w/o going for the block? Thats something very important i would hope the Elite 11 developers wouldnt forget.

We talked about adding different types of contests at the community day. Having a choice to swat at the ball or just use an outstretched arm to bother the shooter is important. Hope they get it in the game.

Me too, I must admit I hadn't thought of that until now. Maybe using left/right on the right stick could work; when the ball's on the floor it can be used to play the passing lanes as it is now but when players are shooting it could be used to just get a hand up in their face.

The new controls seem awesome. I love how they got rid of the repetition of animations that ruin the game. Now it's all about skill just like in real life.
