I know the feeling, great city. One day I hope to have an overseas trip that lasts more than a few days.

z02, shut the fuck up. There's nothing weird or strange with the weather in your place. If you have half a brain you would have paid more attention to your science class or you could have searched in Google or Wiki about thunderstorms, weather patterns, and shite.

So, you didn't look at radar before you went outside? You can SEE rain/storms coming with the fancy INTERNET. In-fact, by looking at the radar and using my low quality knowledge of meteorology, I can better predict rain and storms than my local news stations apparently can. (Hint: It's highly about what direction they're moving and where my static location is. For example, my forecast for the last eight hours was mostly clear. Yet the radar clearly showed a series of rain/storms that would move past me every two hours or so. Guess what. They did, including the one currently.)
I lived in an apartment where the internet went out any time it rained. Same company throttled everything but they spammed nearly every apartment company in this area that you couldn't get good internet in most apartments around the area. Thankfully I'm away from them now, and the price I pay is more than worth it.
P.S. I love rain, people who hate it are traitors.
P.P.S. I wish your internet did go out when it rained. And that it was monsoon season where you live.

I have lived in Charlotte for 14 years and this usually doesn't happen EVERYDAY FOR A FREAKING WEEK AND A HALF.

Oops: doesn't apply to me.

Now that it has been voiced that "I'm dumb and part of the problem", I'll say I agree and drop this stupid topic. The only reason I brought it up in the first place is because I was back after like two days cuz my internet was out and I'm here so let's end this subject. Thank you.

Heading down to Canberra for a few days for my friend's birthday celebrations. I'll have Internet access but I won't be around as much usual. I won't be back until Tuesday so I'll miss Games 4 and 5 of the Finals, so here's hoping they go at least six games so I can catch the final game(s) live.

It's not just about how big you are, I think contestants are also checked psychologically so that they'll know if you will have a murderous rage once the weight loss and food control starts.
Judging by your past posts here in the NLSC, it's highly probable that you're psycho.
